The man taken into custody by the New York Police Department after Tuesday’s terror attack that killed at least eight is 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov of Tampa, Florida, according to an ABC News report.

Police stopped Saipov in Mount Holly Springs Borough, Pennsylvania, just south of Carlisle, in March 2015 and he gave police a Paterson, New Jersey address, according to court records. He also was stopped in 2012 in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, just east of Hershey, and also listed a Paterson address.

Saipov is an Uzbek national and came to the U.S. in 2010, NBC News reported.

Videos posted online show Saipov dodging cars in lower Manhattan, horns beeping in the background. ABC interviewed a witness who said he saw Saipov run toward a group of children. Police have said the objects Saipov was holding were imitation firearms.

  1. Hey Angel! 😀

Where you been? I was getting ready to send you an e-mail to make sure everything is o.k.

    1. Still in TX. Hubby is finally out of the hospital. This trip has SUCKED! Spent last weekend at Lake Fork (no TV, no Phones, no WIFI). All weekend it was cold as Heck there (one day, it was 28 degrees with 27mph wind gusts). Didn’t even step out on the floating dock/pier (it was rocking and rolling. 1 1/2 -2 foot waves w/ whitecaps on the lake), much less put a hook in the water. However, it was peaceful and relaxing (the one enjoyable thing, this trip). VA finally came to get their oxygen tanks today. Hoping to get on the road back by the 10th.

      1. Bummer! 🙁

Getting colder here, too. Dropping down into the 30s for about a week (nighttime temps, not daytime), but still only rain predicted. I expected snow at under 35, but they’re saying rain.

        We’ll see.

Anyway, hope the rest of your trip turns out better for you.

“In what New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called a “cowardly act of terror,”

    Are we terrified yet?

    1. Wasn’t so 20 years ago. Murder, theft, yes, but not this. And it shouldn’t be. This is why Trump got elected. He wanted to keep these people out.

  3. Here are a couple more stories about the guy:
