A flood “rescue mission” turned fatal for one Oklahoma man, who was shot and killed by a state trooper. Police claimed that the man did not want to leave his vehicle, argued and allegedly attacked officers as they tried to get him out of the water.
The incident took place some 20 miles outside of Tulsa when Okmulgee County state troopers came to the rescue of two men trying to save their car stranded at a roadway from rushing water on Friday.
The water levels were rising too rapidly, and the troopers we “worried about them getting swept away,”according to Capt. Paul Timmons who spoke of the incident with the press on Saturday.
“[The troopers] were trying to get them to come out of the water,” Timmons said. “(The men), for whatever reason, were just really upset about having to leave the vehicle there.”
When the two unfortunate drivers got to the dry land, at least one of them allegedly attacked the officers and was shot and killed, AP reports.
“It’s not real clear how it all transpired,” Timmons admitted. A weapon was reportedly recovered from one of the suspects, but it remains unclear whether the man fired at the troopers. The second man was arrested for assault and public intoxication. Their identities were not revealed.
Local news however reported the victim as a 35-year-old Nehemiah Fischer, a pastor of a local church, while the second man was identified as his brother.
Meanwhile the troopers did not suffer any injuries. The superiors are due to decide whether the officers should be placed on leave following the incident.

I didn’t see any flood water in the video, although the road did look slightly damp in one place. There was a sign that said “high water” so I guess that’s supposed to represent the rushing flood waters.

Nope. Apparently I was so oblivious that my wife’s friend called her and asked her if we had seen anything. We move to the country to get away from this and then they bring it to our front door more or less.

What I find even worse is that this story was on Yahoo yesterday and the commenters for the most part saw nothing wrong with what the cops did. They never stop to think that THEY could be next!

This info wasn’t in the article I saw a couple days ago. Being that the murder victim was a pastor, it makes their ‘version’ of events even far less credible.

“Fischer had a gun, said captain Paul Timmons, an Oklahoma department of public safety spokesman. He said he was unable to provide more detail about whether Fischer was armed at the moment of the shooting and who exactly fired the shots.
“A handgun was found,” he told the Guardian. “I can’t verify whether it was being brandished but the deceased individual did have a handgun … the investigators are still trying to determine how many shots were fired. We know there was more than one but an exact number, I don’t have that information available yet.”

This is obviously a cover story by the pig scum for whatever actually transpired. My guess is that the pigs started muscling up/pulling some revenuer-enforcer bullshit on the guys they “rescued” from the “vehicle in distress”, because they believed, like ALL admiralty maritime corporation goons are required to believe: >THAT EVERY INTERACTION WITH THE “SLAVE” PUBLIC ENTITIES IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GENERATE REVENUE<, and an ability to enhance their status with their own slave-masters. I believe that at that point, the pigs used the “new paradigm” solution to the problem of the uppity slaves, and started shooting….it has become apparent that this is the new norm.
The CORPORATION UNDERSTANDS that their very existence is determined by whether we as the CORPORATE SLAVES (in their eyes) continue to cower and tremble at the possibility they might "charge" us with some wrongdoing.
