The American flag has been banned from Ground Zero, site of the 9/11 terrorist attack, because it “might offend someone.” On successive days, two different groups of visitors were told they could not carry their flag on the memorial grounds.
On June 3rd, members of the Facebook group American Freedom Keepers were told by two security guards that carrying an American flag was not allowed, and one of them made mention of the fact that the men were “Trump supporters,” as if that tainted their show of patriotism and respect.
The next day two visitors from Florida, Jaime Spears and Johnny Gantea, were told by a security “supervisor” (who would not reveal his last name or badge number) that they had to furl their flag. Rather than disgrace the Stars and Stripes as if they were in retreat during battle, Gantea proudly carried his waving flag and left the grounds.

The American flag has offended me ever since this country discarded its Bill of Rights and its moral compass. That flag is nothing but a peppermint-colored lie until we restore this country’s foundation.
If you’re on a sinking ship in the middle of the ocean, with huge holes letting in water, the things to do first are (1) alert everyone to the problem, and then (2) work together to fix the holes. This is done BEFORE worrying about the letters painted on the side of the ship or the flag flying from the mast.

I imagine anyone showing up with a Confederate flag would be shot on the spot.
