Salt Lake City, UT — In September, TFTP reported on Officer Nickolas Pearce, and his subsequent charges after he forced his K-9 to maul a kneeling, unarmed, surrendered man with his hands in the air. Pearce’s case has since shed light on the use of K-9s in the Salt Lake City police department and his attack on a grown man was just the tip of the iceberg. Apparently, the department has no problem siccing their dogs on harmless surrendering children as well.

After charges were announced against Pearce, SLC Police Chief Mike Brown said his office had reviewed 27 times where police dogs bit someone since 2018. They flagged 18 of those cases — 66% — as possibly criminal. Though Pearce has been the only officer charged, the officer in the horrifying incident below, may soon face the same fate. As the Biden administration looks to quickly pass a third major economic stimulus program, some of its allies on Capitol Hill and elsewhere are mulling mixing up the formula for payments to households, looking to make them recurring instead of the lump sums seen in the past.

Getting money to households is, for the government, a relatively easy task. Getting them to spend it, however, can be hard — those not in need of immediate help often squirrel away the extra cash or use it to pay down debt. Continue reading “Your next stimulus check may be the first of several”

  • In rare circumstances, it’s OK for people to receive one shot of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine and one shot of Moderna’s vaccine at least 28 days apart, the CDC said in updated guidance.
  • The CDC says the two products are not interchangeable.
  • The agency acknowledged that it hadn’t yet studied whether its new recommendations would change the safety or effectiveness of either vaccine.

Breitbart – by Hannah Bleau

Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief medical adviser for President Biden on the novel coronavirus, failed to rule out double masking — even after getting vaccinated — during an appearance Tuesday on America’s Newsroom.

Co-anchor Dana Perino asked Fauci for his thoughts on double masking, or the practice of wearing two masks at once, asking whether it would be necessary after receiving the vaccination for the Chinese coronavirus. Fauci, who appeared to express support for double masking this week, failed to rule it out. Continue reading “Dr. Anthony Fauci Fails to Rule Out Double Masking for Those Who Are Vaccinated”

The new director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans to bring in the military and medical students for mass vaccination efforts. Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during a Jan. 19 Good Morning America appearance that the public health body will commission military medical personnel, retirees and nursing and medical students for the country’s immunization program. She also committed to the CDC making the vaccine more accessible through mobile vans and additional doses for pharmacies. WASHINGTON, D.C. (KOSA) – U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, along with other Republican Senators, has reintroduced an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would impose term limits on members of Congress.

“Every year, Congress spends billions of dollars on giveaways for the well-connected: Washington insiders get taxpayer money and members of Congress get re-elected, all while the system fails the American people. It’s no wonder that the vast majority of Americans from every political stripe – Republicans, Democrats, and Independents – overwhelmingly support congressional term limits,” said Sen. Cruz.
