Oklahoma City, OK — In what is being called the largest-ever single day of commutations in the history of the United States, hundreds of non-violent drug offenders and other low-level non-violent offenders are being set free from Oklahoma prisons on Monday.

In a historical move, Governor Kevin Stitt signed the recommendations to release more than 450 inmates on Friday. On October 6, around fifty U.S. commandos in northeastern Syria tasked with hunting down ISIS forces were withdrawn from territory near the Turkish border controlled by the Kurdish-Arab SDF faction.

The U.S. withdrawal was a prerequisite for a Turkish attack against the SDF which subsequently took place. New York, NY — Rarely do we report allegations without some corroborating evidence, but we found Linda Shapiro’s case against NYC’s Department of Corrections deeply disturbing and were compelled to tell her story.

According to a recent lawsuit filed by Linda Shapiro, he son needed $30,000 to bail out of the Lower Manhattan jail where he was being held. Nearly a thousand protesters took to the streets of Brooklyn to demonstrate against the NYPD after a spate of violent arrests on the subway and over its plans to put more officers on the beat to catch anyone who skips paying the fare.
