A majority of Americans believe the First Amendment should be rewritten and are willing to crack down on free speech, as well as the press, according to a new poll.
More than 60 percent of Americans agree on restricting speech in some way, while a slim majority, 51 percent, want to see the First Amendment rewritten to “reflect the cultural norms of today.” The Campaign for Free Speech, which conducted the survey, said the results “indicate free speech is under more threat than previously believed.” Continue reading “Poll: Majority of Americans Want First Amendment Rewritten”

I have never been so upset by a poll in my life. Only 22% of Americans now believe “the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews,” down from nearly 50% in 1964. The Anti-Defamation League, which released the poll results last month, sees in these numbers a victory against stereotyping. Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Catherine Austin Fitts was the managing partner at Dillon Read Investment Bank when she quit her job to serve as Assistant Secretary of Housing in the first Bush administration. Once she went to San Diego where she found that HUD (Housing and Urban Development) had made $20 million in loan guarantees on apartment buildings that did not exist. They did not even have postal addresses. She had to fight the bureaucracy for months to get a look at the books. DUBLIN, Va. (AP) — A Volvo plant in Virginia has temporarily laid off about 3,000 workers because thousands of Mack Truck workers are on strike.

The Kansas City-area’s manufacturing industry has faced a slate of layoffs this year from employers such as Harley-Davidson, Nestlé USA, Pepsi and Haldex Brake Products Corp.

A transgender police officer in Washington, D.C., who has repeatedly been praised as a community role model has also quietly been reprimanded for improper sexually-tinged antics with underage police interns.
In a story published Thursday night, NBC4 News profiled Jessica Hawkins as a police officer who “helps build trust in [the] D.C. community” due to his work on an LGBT outreach unit. Hawkins, who previously went by Billy, is biologically male but identifies as a woman, and publicly transitioned two years ago. The majority of U.S. voters say newly arrived immigrants are not assimilating to American culture but are rather keeping their foreign cultures when they arrive, a new poll finds.
The latest Associated Press-NORC poll reveals that a majority of 54 percent of all U.S. voters say immigrants are not adopting American culture and instead are retaining their foreign cultures. Nearly six-in-ten white voters and almost half of Hispanic voters agree that immigrants are not assimilating to American culture. Four executives at an Illinois manufacturing plant have been charged with knowingly hiring illegal aliens, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency reveals.
According to ICE officials, four executives at the sheet metal KSO MetalFab Inc. manufacturing plant in Streamwood, Illinois — a suburb of Chicago — have been charged with one count each of knowingly harboring illegal aliens and one count each of knowingly hiring illegal aliens. Israel is readying for a direct cruise missile or drone strike by Tehran in response to recent attacks on Iranian regional proxies which have been attributed to the Jewish state, Army Radio reported Tuesday evening.

A Border Patrol agent working near the Texas Border fired multiple shots at a group of migrants who attacked during a traffic stop. Two gunshots fired by the agent struck one of the attacking migrants.
A Border Patrol agents initiated a traffic stop on Highway 349 near Dryden, Texas, on Tuesday night. The vehicle contained approximately ten illegal aliens being smuggled into the U.S., according to information obtained from the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office.
