A few cities in Texas have passed laws requiring the acceptance of same sex marriage. San Antonio, passed a regulation requiring those who wish to obtain a city contract or do business with the city must accept the same sex marriage concept. San Antonio along with Austin, Houston is a hot bed of liberalism. Primarily because folks from the northeast and California keep moving here where they can find a job and enjoy the good life we Texans have. So far this year, 400 out of state people have moved to the DFW area per day. Coming from liberal states these folks rarely take time to figure out that the reasons Texas is a good place for business is less government interference, lower taxes, a conservative attitude with emphasis on capitalism with a strong religious base. It is also a place were folks do not like being told what to do by the government. Our present governor has discovered over the years that his popularity was not enough to push things down the throats of Texans.   Continue reading “Same Sex What?”

For the first time, Chinese troops will train with Australian and US soldiers in a land exercise in the Northern Territory.

Troops from the three nations will take part in Exercise Kowari that aims to train them in outback survival techniques.

In typical Machiavellian fashion, President Barack Obama is using public safety as an excuse to violate federal law, pry into your personal medical records, and add your name to a federal database tracking individuals with diagnoses of mental illness. Obama originally announced his intent on January 16, 2013, when he signed 23 executive orders purportedly intended to curb gun violence. A foul-mouthed Tinley Park man cursed out his children and threatened to lock them in a “hot truck” if they didn’t “shut up,” then unleashed a stream of profanity at a woman who objected to his language, police said.

The one-time Buffalo-area congresswoman known for her strong support of gun ownership rights and her fervid opposition to giving state privileges to illegal aliens has all but disappeared from public view since Gov. Cuomo picked her in May as his running mate for lieutenant governor.

On Thursday morning, U.S. District Judge Micaela Alvarez delivered harsh words to former Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño during his sentencing hearing. The application for the permit to open the range was voted on earlier this summer and approved by the Planning Board by a 6:1 vote.

Malaysian Airlines MH17 plane was travelling almost the same route as Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s jet shortly before the crash that killed 295, Interfax news agency reports citing sources.

“I can say that Putin’s plane and the Malaysian Boeing intersected at the same point and the same echelon. That was close to Warsaw on 330-m echelon at the height of 10,100 meters. The purpose of the operation was  to destroy the Gazan terror tunnels leading to Israel, according to a statement released by the prime minister’s office.

As US lawmakers grapple with ways to slash spending, many were shocked to learn authorities are spending $250 to $1,000 per day to care for each minor apprehended crossing the US border.

More than 57,000 unaccompanied children, mostly from Central America, have been caught entering the country illegally since last October, and President Barack Obama has asked for $3.7 billion in emergency funding to address what he has called an “urgent humanitarian solution.”
