Authorities in Phoenix say a passenger has died on a US Airways flight to Phoenix from Honolulu after a suffering an unknown medical emergency.

Fire Capt. Benjamin Santillan says the passenger was a woman in her 50s.

Santillan says the woman lost consciousness while the plane was in the air. He says she had no pulse and was pronounced dead by responders after the plane arrived at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.   Continue reading “Passenger Dies on US Airways Flight to Phoenix”

If there were any doubts that Western “leaders” live in a fantasy make-believe world constructed out of their own lies, the G-7 meeting and 70th anniversary celebration  of the Normandy landing dispelled the doubts.

The howlers issuing from these occasions are enough to split your sides.  Obama and his lap dog Cameron described the Normandy landing on June 6, 1944, as “the greatest liberation force that the world has ever known” and took all the credit for the US and Britain for the defeat of Hitler.  No mention was made of the Soviet Union and the Red Army, which for three years prior to the Normandy landing had been fighting and defeating the Wehrmacht.   Continue reading “The Lies Grow More Audacious”

The House voted Wednesday to rebuke President Obama by passing a resolution authorizing a GOP lawsuit against his use of executive power.

The 225-201 vote fell along party lines, with five Republicans voting against the measure. No Democrats supported it.

Federal agents arrested six Philadelphia Police narcotics officers as part of an ongoing corruption probe and accused the group of swiping more than half a million dollars’ worth of money, drugs and other items over a period of years.

On July 29 Senators Tim Kaine (D-VA), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Chris Murphy (D-CT) introduced legislation encouraging states to “[seize] firearms when adjudicating or responding to domestic violence situations.”

MILWAUKEE – Cargill will close its Milwaukee beef harvest facility on Friday, the company said in a release today.

The company — which provides food, agriculture, financial and industrial products and services — employs approximately 600 people.

There are more than 10 independently operated private militia groups patrolling the border between Texas and Mexico, ignoring calls from Customs and Border Patrol to back off and inviting criticism from local lawmakers.

This recent report illustrates a prime example. Facebook stock soars, as company briefly passes IBM in market value. 

By most measures, Facebook is dwarfed by IBM: With about 7,000 employees, ten-year-old Facebook is on track to garner $12 billion in sales this year. The 103-year-old IBM has more than 400,000 workers and sold almost $100 billion of computer hardware and software in 2013.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Americans are wary of granting refugee status to children crossing the U.S. border to flee strife-torn countries in Central America, and most in an Associated Press-GfK poll say the U.S. does not have a moral obligation to accept asylum seekers generally.
