Guns Save Lives – by Dan Cannon

What is it about minors and defensive gun uses lately? This is the 5th incident we’ve documented in less than a month in which a minor has used a firearm in self defense or defense of another in one way or another. See the bottom of this article for a full list.

In this case an intruder, identified as 45 year old Kenneth Johnson, broke into a Muscle Shoals, Alabama home where a 17 year and 15 year old were home alone.   Continue reading “17 Year Old Alabama Boy Chases Naked Intruder Away With Dad’s Gun”

The turmoil gripping the Middle East is a direct result of the provision of cash, weapons and surveillance to Israel by the US, the latest Snowden leak illustrates. Obama’s “helpless detachment” is just for show, the Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald writes.

In a bold examination, the former Guardian journalist reveals the amazing contrast between what the United States says publicly, and what it does behind the curtain. This involves President Barack Obama’s apparent heartbreak over the Middle Eastern region, as well as the American love for publicly listing Israel as a threat to regional peace at a time when billions of dollars’ worth of its weaponry and intelligence were being supplied to the Jewish state since the 1960s.   Continue reading “Obama’s ‘helplessness’ an act: Snowden reveals scale of US aid to Israel”

The Common Sense Show – by Dave Hodges

Monsanto, or Monsatan as many call them, has partnered with the Department of Defense to use a proxy third party company to develop a vaccine against Ebola. The seed money began at $1.5 million. The value of the deal could grow to an estimated $86 million dollars. The company’s name is Tekmira Pharmaceuticals Corporation (TKMR) (TKM.TO), a leading developer of RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics. “TKM-Ebola, an anti-Ebola virus RNAi therapeutic, is being developed under a $140 million contract with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Medical Countermeasure Systems BioDefense Therapeutics (MCS-BDTX) Joint Product Management Office”.  As breaking and shocking of a news story as this has the potential to be, the real story is that this is not the most important part of the Ebola threat which has invaded the United States.   Continue reading “The Monsanto Sponsored Ebola Vaccine Will Kill More People Than the Ebola Itself”

Natural Health 365 – by Lori Alton

It’s known to play a crucial role in a number of biological functions, from stress resistance and muscle performance to cardiac function and hormonal balance. But research recently published by Oregon State University biochemists suggests that lipoic acid (LA), also called alpha lipoic acid (ALA), may play a broader role in slowing the aging process and turning back the biological clock.

Studies have shown that lipoic acid may safeguard your body against a number of debilitating health concerns, many of them linked to the aging process, including vision-impairing cataracts and neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease.   Continue reading “Alpha lipoic acid shown to slow down the aging process”

Real Farmacy – by Arjun Walia

Governments do not dictate major policy, major multinational corporations do. We’ve seen this time and time again, and one of the best examples out there is Monsanto. This time, the United States government wants to force GMO seeds on El Salvadorian farmers.

Encouraged by the U.S. Embassy, the Millennium Challenge Corporation had “granted” El salvador 277 million dollars to “improve El Salvador’s competitiveness and productivity in international markets.” This, however, would not come without certain commitments and obligations, which included a commitment to ensure that the Ministry of Agriculture’s procurement of corn and bean seed would “be consistent with the provisions of the CAFTA-DR( Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement).” (1)   Continue reading “U.S. Government To Pull Foreign Aid In El Salvador For Refusing Monsanto Seeds”

The Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative (NSI) kind of speaks for itself. It is an effort by the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the Department of Justice and other agencies to promote civic counter-terror engagement. To do this, the federal agencies enlist the help of state, local and tribal police departments, as well as private security firms, in collecting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) filed by citizens and officers. Federally funded publicity campaigns like “If You See Something, Say Something” are made available for local adoption—provided regional law enforcement officials share what intelligence they gather.    Continue reading “Police & DHS consider stretching during a jog to be a “suspicious activity””

Gil reaches into the top pocket of his shirt and fishes out a wedge of grimy papers. These are the precious records of his life, documents the rest of us keep in a filing cabinet at home. Eventually he finds what he is looking for, a yellow slip that looks like a parking ticket.

That, as it happens, is about right, although Gil is not a man of many possessions and certainly not a car. He does, however, have size 13 shoes. In his hands is a police citation written a few weeks ago when an officer found him sitting on the kerb with his feet touching the road. “Feet in Roadway Disturbing Traffic,” it reads.   Continue reading “US cities’ crackdown on homeless people is ‘very close to ethnic cleansing’”

The gun law that emerged from the conference committee in Massachusetts has the state’s anti-gun politicians, mostly but not all Democrats, thrilled; it makes the right to have any gun at all, including a single-shot shotgun, subject to police discretion.

The law erases, or, pending court action we might say attempts to erase, the 2nd Amendment from the rights of subjects of and visitors to the Bay State and converts them into a privilege bestowed, or not, by a police official; although the cop must seek a rubber stamp from a Massachusetts court to deny the right. This was not a near-run thing: the vote was extremely lopsided, 122-29 in the state House and 37-3 in the state Senate.   Continue reading “Poly-Ticks: Extreme anti-gun law passes in MA”

Huffington Post – by Matt Sledge

Documents published Monday by The Intercept revealed the “far-reaching” extent of the U.S. National Security Agency’s collaboration with Israeli intelligence services. The revelations came as the U.S. State Department criticized Israel for its “disgraceful” shelling of a U.N. school, and the death toll in the Israeli offensive in Gaza surpassed 1,800 Palestinians and 60 Israelis.

The documents, some from as recently as 2013, show that under agreements with the Israelis, the U.S. has provided cash, raw data and analysis, much of it directed against “Palestinian terrorism.”   Continue reading “NSA Has ‘Far-Reaching’ Partnership With Israeli Intelligence Agency”

1. What benefits the enemy, harms you; and what benefits you, harm the enemy.

2. Whoever is more vigilant in observing the designs of the enemy in war, and endures much hardship in training his army, will incur fewer dangers, and can have greater hope for victory.

3. Never lead your soldiers into an engagement unless you are assured of their courage, know they are without fear, and are organized, and never make an attempt unless you see they hope for victory.   Continue reading “Machiavelli’s 27 Rules of War”

Tracing the friends, supporters, allies and campaign contributors of Barack Obama can reveal a lot about what passes for an American government.

Al Qaeda was used to take down Libya. I never really understood the official Government Speak explanation as to why it was a good idea to take down Libya. I do remember the article about the CIA agent standing next to Libya’s 144 million ounces of gold before it disappeared. Has anyone at a press conference asked either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton where all that gold went? And where did the $98 billion Libya had on deposit in Banks in NATO countries go? The IMF did come forward and offer to loan the new puppet regime a few billion dollars at interest. A loan at interest on money they created out of nothing.   Continue reading “Obama’s Friends: Al Qaeda, Sinaloa Drug Cartel, ISIS, MS-13, Too Big To Jail Banks”

The Zionist Plan for the Middle East, also known as the Yinon Plan, is an Israeli strategic plan to ensure Israeli regional superiority. It insists and stipulates that Israel must reconfigure its geo-political environment through the balkanization of the surrounding Arab states into smaller and weaker states.

“Greater Israel” consists in an area extending from the Nile Valley to the Euphrates. When viewed in the current context, the war on Iraq, the 2006 war on Lebanon, the 2011 war on Libya, the ongoing war on Syria, not to mention the process of regime change in Egypt, must be understood in relation to the Zionist Plan for the Middle East. The latter consists in weakening and eventually fracturing neighboring Arab states as part of an Israeli expansionist project.    Continue reading “The Yinon Plan, “Greater Israel”, Syria, Iraq, and ISIS: the Connection”
