Last week we saw an all out propaganda push put forth by the communist insurgency to force new deep reaching infringements upon our 2^nd Article, with the end goal clearly being universal registration to be followed by universal confiscation.  The communists’ tag line is gun safety, which is about as open a term as the sleazy attorneys could come up with.

Today would have been North Korean leader Kim Il-Sung’s 105th birthday and it is being speculated that his grandson, Kim Jong Un, may fire a missile as a part of a test to commemorate the day.  The event may have already occurred by the time this article is released as the 15^th was yesterday in North Korea.

This whole North Korean fiasco has to be described as one of the most blatant smokescreens to be thrown up within the 21^st century.  The powers that be know that this missile test is really so insignificant as to not even warrant mention, but are using their mainstream propaganda machine to create as much tension through confusion as possible.    Continue reading “Happy Birthday, Kim Il-Sung”

Tens of thousands of illegal aliens and their supporters gathered in Washington DC last week to demand that we American nationals surrender a portion of our country to them.  And of course, rather than mass arrests we have seen the sleazy assenting toward accommodating these foreigners in the form of the scam being pedaled as the Gang of 8.  Neither the false left Democrats nor the false right Republicans have the authority to give our country away to any foreign national, as there is no consent of the people.

One of the main reasons for my skepticism was that I rarely saw what they were describing in the skies. But over the past several years I have noticed a great number of these trails and I have to admit they are not like the contrails I grew up seeing in the skies. They are extensive, quite broad, are laid in a definite pattern, and slowly evolve into artificial clouds. An unusual surge of stranded dying and dead sea lions (seals) have littered Southern California beaches from Santa Barbara to San Diego since earlier this year. Most of the area newspapers and media outlets have been alarmingly reporting this unusual phenomenon.

It’s unusual because this is the season when sea lion pups flourish. Instead they’re struggling ashore in starved, emaciated conditions, if they’ve managed to stay alive. A Florida police officer fired over his use of shooting targets with an image resembling slain teenager Trayvon Martin is defending himself on YouTube, saying the target was intended as a “no shoot” training aid for an instructional session.

I asked my former Marine son Daniel if the Marine Corps taught him to shoot uphill.  He has in fact shot at ranges with elevations before, but mostly there was little formal instruction, even for designated marksmen like he was (other than things like Kentucky Windage type adjustments).  I suppose that Scout Snipers go through some sort of training on shooting up or down elevations, but most Marines do not.  I have also talked with our reader Jean (who commanded troops in N2K), and there was no particular training for Soldiers to teach them how to target Taliban up a hill.   Continue reading “Shooting Uphill”
