Everyone from President Obama and Vice President Biden on down who is currently pushing for new gun control legislation as a way to “reduce gun violence” and lower crime overall is lying if they tell you that most police officers agree with them that these new measures will work.
According to PoliceOne, a law enforcement-centric website that just completed a survey of more than 15,000 verified police officers, a stunning 85 percent said a new federal ban on military look-alike semi-automatic rifles would have no effect on crime, and might even put their lives in danger. The motive behind the April 15 twin bombings at the Boston Marathon, which killed at least three and injured more than 175, remains shrouded in mystery as of Tuesday afternoon. Although law enforcement officials reportedly have a Saudi national in custody as a “person of interest,” it remains unclear whether the bombings are an act of terrorism or simply the actions of a lone insane bomber without political motivation. Instructions to make bombs out of pressure cookers similar to those believed the source of two explosions in Boston on Monday were published two years ago in Inspire, an online magazine tied to al-Qaeda and the late U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, an analysis of the magazine shows.

BOSTON — The bombs that ripped through the crowd at the Boston Marathon, killing three people and wounding more than 170, were fashioned out of pressure cookers and packed with metal shards, nails and ball bearings to inflict maximum carnage, a person briefed on the investigation said Tuesday.
The details on the apparently crude but deadly explosives emerged as investigators appealed to the public for amateur video and photos that might yield clues to who carried out the attack. The chief FBI agent in Boston vowed “we will go to the ends of the Earth” to find those responsible. Not unlike the horrible shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the Boston Marathon bombing has become a ”blame-it-on-patriots” media event. Without any proof whatsoever, speculation in the mainstream media is pointing the finger directly at people who believe in independence and freedom from tyranny.
None of the mainstream outlets is asking why a person against paying taxes or someone who is pro-Constitution would attempt to harm people out enjoying a race.
