  1. Great quote. It took until I left my home state environment before I realized that the way I was living wasn’t the way it should be. I woke up to the truth about how many lies I have been surrounded with my entire life. I pray that more awaken every day!

  2. Let me take a shot at answering this poet’s question. Hmmm… I’d say that except for a few years I pretty much knew who I was. Those few years were from say, age 18 to 28. Yeah, 10 freakin’ hard years, confusing years. This was not because of any worldly government but because of peer pressure and the wild times I was born into. Do this, be that, wear this, believe that, smoke this, sleep with… Wow, what a whirlwind. Took much work to finally settle down and say, Hey, this is MY life, gdamit. But the good thing was that pretty much everyone knew the government was bad, out to get us, and out to get people everywhere. Early on we knew not to trust it. Still, it’s a lifetime of shaking off programming, mostly from t.v. and college. College, damn, we thought we knew it all. And who knew there is always more to learn and experience? I wouldn’t mind living forever, in the physical I mean, and as long as it was without any suffering. Sure would like a shot at bringing heaven to earth. I see it shining, that Bill of Rights, as a sort of portal to the Pearly Gates, the Earthly Pearly Gates. Okay, that’s it for confession number nine thousand and fifty eight.

    🙂
