“Strongest Storm Ever Recorded in Hemisphere”: Category 5 Hurricane Patricia Headed for Mexico

The Daily Sheeple

A state of emergency has been declared over large swaths of Mexico as the “potentially catastrophic” Category 5 Hurricane Patricia bears down on its central Pacific Coast.

As of 5:30 am:

Dave Roberts, a hurricane specialist at the Hurricane Center, said Friday morning that the storm is the strongest one they’ve seen in the eastern Pacific or in the Atlantic with maximum sustained winds near 200 mph (325 kph).

The Hurricane Center is predicting a “potentially catastrophic landfall” in southwestern Mexico later in the day.

Patricia is centered about 160 miles (255 kilometers) south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is moving north-northwest near 10 mph (17 kph).

Reuters is reporting that Patricia became a hurricane overnight with max sustained winds of 295 mph. EDIT: Apparently the 295 is a “typo” from Reuters. Max sustained winds have reached 195 mph.

Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta are under hurricane warning. Authorities are telling residents to finish boarding up windows and leave coastal areas immediately.

“Patricia is now the most intense ever having reached the Northeast Pacific hurricane,” WMO spokeswoman Clare Nullis, in a report published in Geneva, citing the latest report issued by the National Hurricane Center US…

“The winds are strong enough to lift a plane and keep it in the air,” said Nullis.

  1. The “Most Powerful Storm in the Western hemisphere? It hit landfall as a tropical depression, according to jimstone.com, he reports he was 150 miles from the eye of this storm and “nothing happened”. No wind, no rain, nothing. No deaths and no damage to speak of other than slight damage reportedly at the coast. Mexican authorities are reporting nothing. A gag order was issued to the U.S. Weather Service to tow the global warming scam on this “fake” boogey man storm that churned up doom on the computer model. “Be very afraid of Global Warming” “Oh, the horror, the horror, the whore”! It was the worst “fake” storm ever! Boy, did they ever cry wolf on this one. All the images you are seeing on the MSM of major damage and Al Roker hanging horizontally from a street sign is all stock footage from previous storms. Don’t put it past them for a minute!
