KHQ 6 News – by Luke ThoburnRATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN, Wash.- The National Weather Service confirmed that a short-lived, weak tornado hit near Rattlesnake Mountain about 6:30pm Wednesday evening. Rattlesnake Mountain is near the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.
The tornado had wind speeds estimated from 70 to 80 miles per hour and last just a few minutes. It did not do any damage.
