WEB Notes: They cannot “risk” ISIS using Syrian tanks, but they do not mind funding them and providing them with their own military hardware. The point here is more of Syria’s infrastructure and military hardware was just destroyed. This did not hurt ISIS.
American-led airstrikes have destroyed 14 Syrian Army tanks at a military base in central Syria that, just days earlier, had been captured by Islamic State fighters, the United States military said Friday.
The strikes against the group of Russian-made T-72 battle tanks on Thursday near Palmyra came one day after senior American officers in the region warned their Syrian and Russian counterparts that United States warplanes would destroy the tanks and other heavy weaponry at the base rather than take the risk that the Islamic State would use them against American allies in the area.

That actually was an act of war against Syria.They crossed an international boundary and attacked Syrian government assets. Oh but first they warn their Al CIA-DUH mercenaries to scram. If we make it to February without getting into World War 3 I’ll be shocked. What is astonishing is they TOOK IT. They stood down and did not counter attack the invading US aircraft. They just sat tight. Why woiuld they do that? Waiting for something perhaps? What are they waiting for. What is the Turkish army doing by the way?
