“I want to talk to you about the future,” said the NBC reporter interviewing Jarrett. “Is Michelle Obama going to run for office?”
“No,” Jarrett said resolutely.
“You said that very definitively,” the reporter countered.
“Well, I’m absolutely, 100 percent positive that will never happen,” Jarrett proclaimed.
The reporter prodded, “How about Valerie Jarrett? Will you ever run for office?”
“Unlikely,” Obama’s adviser said, leaving the door slightly open.
“But maybe?”
“Not as definitive as the first lady, but highly unlikely,” said Jarrett.
When the NBC reporter tried to see whether she or the first lady were supporting Hillary Clinton for president in 2016, Jarrett said, “well, since she hasn’t even announced her candidacy, I think it’s premature much.”

Valerie Jarrett: “Jarrett [managed] a controversial low-income housing project located in Obama’s former state senate district… [the] complex was considered ‘uninhabitable by unfixed problems, such as collapsed roofs and fire damage… In 2006, federal inspectors graded the condition of the complex an 11 on a 100-point scale — a score so bad the buildings now face demolition.’ …According to documents uncovered by Judicial Watch, Jarrett is also linked to a series of other shady real estate scandals involving convicted felon and former Obama fundraiser Antoin “Tony” Rezko…”
Jarrett was also named in a 2008 Boston Globereport on Grove Parc, an immense housing complex largely funded by taxpayers and managed by her company. After burning through millions in public funds, Jarrett’s management skills resulted in a complex that was largely “uninhabitable.”
Earlier this year The Boston Globe reported on the stunning failures of Jarrett’s companies. “Jarrett is the chief executive of Habitat Co., which managed Grove Parc Plaza from 2001 until this [past] winter and co-managed an even larger subsidized complex in Chicago that was seized by the federal government in 2006, after city inspectors found widespread problems.”
Valerie Jarrett, a product of Chicago’s Daley machine, couldn’t manage a housing complex with millions in taxpayer funds. But I’m sure she could manage, say, an overhaul of the $3 trillion health care industry. What could possibly go wrong? Ah shucks! And all those contracts???

Barack Obama visited his father’s homeland of Kenya, and around the same times Shore Bank donated $1 million to that country to assist in micro-loan programs there.
