Video brought to the RGJ from Vince Carlson shows police running into hospital buildings near the walkway that connects two buildings.
Carlson was having lunch with his girlfriend, who works in the ER at Renown, when the shooting happened. Carlson said his girlfriend was on lockdown afterward.
In the video, people gathered in the walkway connecting the buildings. Police officers with guns drawn ran from place to place with urgency, looking in exterior doorways.
Police cars parked near each intersection. At one point,three people dressed in hospital scrubs ran into the Center for Advanced Medicine entrance. Two police officers appeared to be pushing a wheelchair with an injured woman in it toward the Second Street entrance.
