Barbara Lee and Bobby Scott cosigned a letter that was sent to John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and Dave Camp requesting their assistance in finding financing for HR 589, and also their help in plotting a course that will allow the speedy passage of the legislation. Personally I do not see how this is going to do any good. Remember John Boehner and company are working through a mandate that was put forth to them by the voters which says, “Destroy everyone but the rich. Give no quarter and take no prisoners.”
Considering the recent outrageous acts committed by Wisconsin’s governor I do not think anything is going to stop this power grab, short of armed conflict.
The unemployment report came out for last week: 397,000 new jobless claims. Look at it like this, if jobs were being created, which they are not, the new claim numbers could be offset. So let’s be generous. Let’s say a mere 250,000 are being lost every week that are not, and will not, be replaced. There are 52 weeks in the year. That’s 13 million jobs; this has been going on since 2009, that’s 26 million jobs. Now try and tell me that the unemployment rate is a mere 9%.
The fact is we the common folk in this country are heading straight for a cliff at 190 miles per hour in a car with no brakes. The best we can hope for is to try to jump clear before it goes over. But at 190 miles per hour, we are probably dead anyway.
I used to look at the future and no matter how bad things got I could always see possibilities, which if realized, could bring our country back. I look now and all I see is blood and death with no conception of the outcome.
I do know this; I am a free man and have no wish to live in bondage. Therefore at this point it would seem better to fight and die free than to keep holding on to any hope for reason. I think the international corporate mafia has been planning a world conflict which is about to come to fruition. I believe it is getting very close as the power hungry psychos are no longer making any attempt to hide their actions that are directed toward our destruction and the enslavement of our grandchildren.
Like I said; I see no clear path to direct our attention that can cause a calculated result. This is going to be a dog fight and who will walk away from it is anyone’s guess. We must prepare to fight at a moment’s notice. And we must realize that if there is any chance for those who will be left to build a free society worth living in, every action we take, no matter how chaotic the circumstances must have our Constitution at its foundation.
Millions of us have literally had our lives taken away from us, so the sacrifice has already been made. The only question is what will we exact for those precious stolen ticks of our lives that could have been spent in happiness but were made miserable by a handful of mentally deficient, flesh eating, evil bastards? Does every one realize the magnitude of the crime that has been committed against us? And what should be the formula for our redress?
For the past thirty, forty years we have sold our lives for a song and without complaint as we were able to become and stay happy with what our wages gave us. We were not greedy and for our trouble we will spend what will probably be the last years of our lives in abject misery under conditions that the holier-than-thou would not put a dog through.
Damn the misery makers, damn them for their greed, damn them for their self-righteousness, and most importantly damn them for destroying all hope. I tell each and every one of you out there reading this; things are just going to get worse for us and in a hurry. So we might as well face the facts and get down to brass tacks. If it is our lives they are to have in the final equation, God, let us sell them dearly.
And the amazing thing is that they keep sending more and more of our jobs overseas everyday. Despite the evidence of its damage to our nation. THEY MUST BE STOPPED!

The third horseman rides a black horse and is generally understood as Famine.[4] The horseman carries a pair of balances or weighing scales, indicating the way that bread would have been weighed during a famine.[8]
Of the four horsemen, the black horse and its rider are the only ones whose appearance is accompanied by a vocal pronunciation. John hears a voice, unidentified but coming from among the four living creatures, that speaks of the prices of wheat and barley, also saying “and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” This suggests that the black horse’s famine is to drive up the price of grain but leave oil and wine supplies unaffected. One explanation for this is that grain crops would have been more naturally susceptible to famine years or locust plagues than olive trees and grapevines, which root more deeply;[4][8] the statement might also suggest a continuing abundance of luxuries for the wealthy while staples such as bread are scarce, though not totally depleted.[8] Alternatively, the preservation of oil and wine could symbolize the preservation of the Christian faithful, who used oil and wine in their sacraments. Another interpretation based on Ezekiel 45:13 is that wheat and barley represent the people’s contribution to sacrifice to the Temple in the old Jewish traditions when Solomon’s temple stood. The scale represents the balance and measure of the people’s contribution, in order to equally distribute it among the 12 tribes. But, one of the four living creatures says it will cost a day’s wage to get the barley and wheat. Therefore, the horseman will use his scale to equally distribute a days wage among nations, resulting with a 3rd Temple, but he is not to harm God’s anointed and their wealth.[4]
The third horseman may also reference Daniel 11:38-39 “But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.” The scales would represent the worshipping of forces and grain is a focus of both passages.

With Obama jumping into each and every problem outside of the USA it is so disappointing how he feels a MORAL OBLIGATION to defend people in Libya from oppression and great harm – even sending aid to Japan in view of that terrible disaster – yet the 99er disaster is just as acute and we are substantially oppressed and Obama does NOTHING!
Henry you are right. If we expect to save ourselves we better start thinking about how to do it. We are not going to get any help from this government. After what has happened in Wisconsin, it is clear where this country is headed. If anyone had any doubt they should be clear about it now. We are fighting for our life here and I, for one, am ready to cast the first stone. I did hear the President mention the word unemployment today during the press conference. However, he is much more concerned about the citizens of Libya than he is about the American people. Also, it seems the 99ers issue has been placed at the back of the to do list. Unbelievable! Again, my prayers are with you all.

If Reps Lee and Scott were truly sincere about this piece of legislation (HR 589) why didn’t they suggest a concrete method of payment at its conception. Why waste thought, time and effort if they knew that its passage stood on shaky ground. I’m sure they were aware that the Republicans would find any and every flimsy excuse possible to shoot it down. HR 589 would’ve had a better chance of passage as an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2011 Continuing Budget Resolution if it had been written on a piece of toilet paper and presented to the floor while still being stuck to the heel of Lee or Scott’s shoe. I’m willing to bet that some of the best pieces of legislation ever been written and passed by members of Congress were conceived while sitting on their proverbial thrones. Both parties are playing the blame game. Neither wants to admit to their involvement in this clandestine massacre.
As for the letter to Boehner. It may well be just another dangling carrot being used to keep us
salvitating and complacent while we “keep hope alive” or “hang in there” (a statement that was so eloquently muttered by our VP not so long ago). Well guess what? all that Hope and Change we were looking for and were promised two years ago seems to be really working out for us. I never dreamed that my life could have such profound meaning. Because every day that I wake up to live another I’m hoping that I’ll have enough change in my pockets to make it through to the next. And that’s the truth.

One person becomes two, becomes three, becomes four. Also you might want to look to local theater groups who might be interested in promoting our cause through the crucifiction. Good to see at least some people getting their act together.

I said this to my wife just yesterday.The reason that companys are not hireing and sitting on trillions of dollars is they know how bad this fight will be.But when its done they think they will have wages and workers right where they want them 60yrs in the past.The attack needs to start where the money comes from the super right wing rich.I watched a piece on the history channel about the bohemian club.In rosa california once a yr the super rich from all over the world get together and many believe decide the direction of the world.This campground if you will is so highley protected that the folks doing the report had 5 police cars around them in minutes for standing at the gate.Check it out for yourself.Attacking the repubs is fine but to kill the snake you cut off the head.The repubs are just lap dogs.What is it the marines say.Kill them all and let god sort them out.

Hello fellow 99ers! It appears that HR589 is another cruel joke for the 99ers just like the stunt that Debbie Stab-her-now pulled last year right before the election. When are we going to wake up and realize that there is only one criminal party in Congress running the show? Well there are the Democrats who pretended to care for us but did absolutely nothing for the 99ers and the other party of “no”. Given a choice of two parties isn’t enough because watching them fight is just like a soap opera where everything is staged and they already know the outcome. Face it folks, Obama is just another impotent puppet with good jivin’ skills but lacks intelligence in his decision making process. We had one chance and the Democrats blew it when they agreed to extend the Bush tax-cut FOR ALL but failed to extend unemployment for everyone including the 99ers. We are mere pawns for their political games and I am sick of it. It is time for us to wake up and take actions instead of being led to the slaughterhouse like sheeps! Are we sheeps or human beings? If we don’t exist in their eyes, then we should be able to do anything without being detected right? There are no jobs in site, Americans are going hungry and becoming homeless and yet we do nothing because the Government wants us to believe that if we do, then we are labeled as home grown terrorists. Need further proof that the GOP and the Dems are one and the same? Look at the price of gas, the GOP are so excited because the oil stocks are going through the roof while the Dems kept their silence in hoping that we would switch to another source of energy. Either way, we are being screwed again and again. We don’t have a voice so let our actions be seen and heard throughout this nation by starting a peaceful revolution at first, and if that does not work, I dare not even think of all the possibilities that we could do to achieve our goals for survival. For all of our sake, I just pray the HR 589 will soon pass but in reality, I seriously doubt that it will anytime soon, or it may just be another nail on the coffin for us 99ers!
