A list of stores that JC Penney plans to close

NEW YORK (AP) — J.C. Penney Co. said will close about 40 stores this year and cut about 2,250 jobs. Most of the stores will close by April 4, the Plano, Texas-based department store operator said Thursday.

Here is a list of the location of the announced store closings:

  1. Jim, I came to post a comment and you had already beat me to the punch. Couldn’t happen to a better bunch! I tore up my JCPenney card many months ago when they started with the LBGT ads.

    And we had been long-time customers. Now I won’t even step foot inside their stores. I did see that they aren’t closing any in our area, Florida.

    1. Noticed none in NV too – perhaps related to the more friendly nature of the states for businesses?

      That or they have a zillion in the other states and are merely thinning the heard
