The Long Beach Fire Department responded to a fire at the city’s colorful Pride Lifeguard Tower early Tuesday and found it fully engulfed in flames, officials reported.

The Pride Lifeguard Tower, which sat on the sand between 12th and 13th places, went in flames sometimes before midnight on Monday, officials said. The rainbow tower was painted by LGBTQ+ members of the Fire Department’s marine safety division in June 2020. In a statement posted on Twitter, the Fire Department said the rainbow tower symbolized “our strong support for the diversity within our ranks & community.” Continue reading “Long Beach’s colorful pride lifeguard tower burned down to the sand”

Mexican researchers have solved the problem of eating and drinking while keeping the mouth-space hermetically sealed against viral contamination. A new mask design blocks nasal exhalation, supposedly saving the wearer and others.

Restaurant patrons thoughtlessly breathing out while unmasked have long been the bane of the restaurant owner’s existence, preventing the once-lucrative establishments from returning to their status as the social hubs they were once considered prior to the onset of the ‘new normal.’ Continue reading “Thought double face masks & goggles were enough? WASHINGTON, March 24, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — In what is arguably the creepiest Public Service Announcement (PSA) ever foisted upon the American public, former Presidents Bill Clinton (D), George W. Bush (R), and Barack Obama (D) urge everyone to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

Far from reassuring, everything about the trio’s message is disturbing.  Continue reading “Creepiest ad ever: Clinton, Bush, and Obama want you to get the COVID vaccine”

A program to give $500 monthly checks to low-income families of color in Oakland, California, has been criticized for explicitly excluding the 10,000 white residents living in poverty in the city.

The lottery system, funded by private philanthropists, will see the no-strings-attached checks go to households with an annual income of less than $59,000 if they have at least one child. The other half of the $500 checks will go to those earning under $30,000.  Continue reading “Oakland, California, will exclude white families living in poverty from $500 a month checks”

The final results in the election for the 24th Knesset are in and their bottom line is that Benjamin Netanyahu lost. He defined victory as a Knesset majority made up of five parties – Likud, Shas, United Torah Judaism, Religious Zionism and Yamina, even though Yamina’s Naftali Bennett refused to commit to joining in advance – and he failed to achieve even that low bar. The five parties of the notional “Netanyahu bloc” now total 59 seats, two short of a majority.  Continue reading “Israel Election Results: How Netanyahu Lost, and Why He Might Still Win”

“Now that the vaccination push is underway, they are trying to temper the mass paranoia and hatred that they have fomented for over a year with some hope and a vision of a post-crisis future. Governments are carefully relaxing restrictions, making sure we understand that if we don’t obey orders, wear our masks, get our vaccinations, and so on, they will crack down on us again without mercy. They want to ease us into the pathologized-totalitarian future gently, so that it feels like we are being liberated, returning to some semblance of normal life, albeit in a new, more terrifying, perpetually-virus-and-extremist-threatened world.”

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) on Tuesday announced she will not vote for any of Biden’s white nominees unless they’re lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer.

“I am a no vote on the floor, on all non diversity nominees,” Duckworth said as reported by Fox News’ Chad Pergram. “You know, I will vote for racial minorities and I will vote for LGBTQ. But anybody else I’m not voting for.”

Duckworth was joined in her protest by Senator Mazie Hinono (D-HI), both of whom also demanded Biden nominate more Asians.

The Biden regime quickly caved and agreed to use their administration as a racial spoils system:

The Biden regime in no way reflects the diversity of America as WASPs are practically non-existent despite being the largest ethnic/religious group in the country.
