An attorney for the 17-year-old from Illinois charged in shootings that left two people dead and a third wounded last month during unrest in Kenosha said in a hearing on Friday that they planned to challenge the teen’s extradition to Wisconsin.

Boulder, CO — A Boulder County woman got an unfortunate lesson in police brutality and the video of it looks like something out of 1930s Germany. After attempting to exercise her rights not to incriminate herself, she found out the hard way police will not only taser you when you’re in handcuffs, but they’ll taser you when you’re completely restrained. Over the past decade, the one common theme despite the political upheaval and growing social and geopolitical instability, was that the market would keep marching higher and the Fed would continue injecting liquidity into the system. The second common theme is that despite sparking unprecedented asset price inflation, prices as measured across the broader economy – using the flawed CPI metric and certainly stagnant worker wages – would remain subdued (as a reminder, the Fed is desperate to ignite broad inflation as that is the only way the countless trillions of excess debt can be eliminated and has so far failed to do so).

As TFTP reports on a regular basis, one of the major problems with policing in the United States is the sheer lack of accountability and consequences for their criminal actions. Cops can kill innocent children — on video — and return to duty like nothing ever happened. As the following case out of Florida illustrates, officers can even admit to multiple sexual assaults and not be concerned with going to jail at all, and even keep their retirement. Minneapolis, MN — In states across the country, health departments are launching COVID-19 antibody testing surveys. The stated goal of these surveys is to better understand how many people in the region have previously had COVID-19.

As part of the initiatives, teams of health officials, paramedics, and even members of fire departments are being dispatched across cities nationwide and going to random homes. When they visit a random home, they ask the resident to answer some survey questions and give a blood sample. This is to determine a number of people who have been infected in the past.
