Why did so many ancient societies around the world make human sacrifices to appease the gods? A new study supports the theory that the practice may have played a key role in keeping the poor downtrodden and the elites in power.

And barbaric as it sounds, human sacrifice may have created one path for more advanced civilizations, according to the study.   Continue reading “Human sacrifice helped ancient societies entrench class divide, study suggests”

Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz says the Trans-Pacific Partnership may well be the worst trade agreement ever negotiated, and he recommends Canada insist on reworking it.

A 2012 Polish study, published in the journal Progressive Health Sciences, highlighted what we’ve all known — and what the mainstream media and vaccine fanatics keeps denying — all along: The risks of vaccines far outweigh any of their perceived benefits.

Researchers from the Department of Pediatric Rehabilitation at the Medical University of Bialystok looked at the typical childhood vaccination schedule in Poland and compared it to that of other countries around the world. Although the decision to inform a workforce of 1,400 employees that they’ll soon be losing their jobs to Mexico is an admirable one from the standpoint of candor, it hardly makes for a good recipe for workplace morale.

A cell phone video taken at Carrier Air Conditioner in Indianapolis shows the exact moment that the plant and union workers were told that the company had decided to shift production south of the border. “The best way to stay competitive and protect the business for longterm is to move production from our facility in Indianapolis to Monterrey, Mexico,” says the company representative at the microphone.   Continue reading “Video Shows Exact Moment 1,400 Employees Learn They Are Losing Their Jobs to Mexico”
