“The President of the United States is a great man,” said Breitbart News’s Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon on Wednesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight.

Bannon’s comments came in response to Justin from California, a caller-in to Breitbart News Tonight noting President Donald Trump’s recent criticisms of Bannon.  Continue reading “Bannon Praises Trump: POTUS ‘Is a Great Man… I Support Him Day In and Day Out’”

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced a ban on personal cellphones and devices in the West Wing, in an apparent attempt to block leaks from the White House.

“[S]tarting next week the use of all personal devices for both guests and staff will no longer be allowed in the West Wing,” Sanders said in a statement to reporters. “Staff will be able to conduct business on their government-issued devices and continue working hard on behalf of the American people.”   Continue reading “Sarah Sanders Announces Ban on Personal Cell Phones at the White House”

A poll of likely 2018 voters shows two-to-one support for President Donald Trump’s pro-American immigration policies, and a lopsided four-to-one opposition against the cheap-labor, mass-immigration, economic policy pushed by bipartisan establishment-backed D.C. interest-groups.

The poll for NumbersUSA is another reminder to politicians that the business-funded ‘Nation of Immigrants” polls distract attention from voters’ private views, which were shockingly displayed on the evening of November 8, 2016.   Continue reading “Poll: Voters Show Massive Support for Trump Immigration Policies”

Being racist normally invites strong disapproval, a ban, perhaps criminal prosecution. So why is supporting a racist regime like Israel not only tolerated but actively encouraged in the West’s corridors of power and often rewarded with high office?

“If opposing Israel is anti-Semitism, then what do you call supporting a state that has been engaged in brutal ethnic cleansing for seven decades? What does that make you?”

It’s a question posed by Miko Peled, an Israeli Jew and son of an Israeli general, former Israeli soldier and now a leading voice in the struggle for Palestinian freedom. You couldn’t find a more authentic insider.   Continue reading “What do you call somebody who supports Israel?”

During the first few days of the Iranian protests, it was somewhat unclear as to whether or not the demonstrations were indeed organic expressions of Iranians angry with religious and legal oppression as well as economic stagnation. As the days passed and the violence grew and as more and more Iranians began speaking out, it subsequently became more and more clear that the demonstrations were something other than organic expressions of anger. Indeed, now on day six, it is abundantly clear that the protests are nothing more than another warfront for the United States, NATO, GCC, and Israel.   Continue reading “Iran Protesters Want Sanctions, No Support For Syria, Lebanon, Palestine – Call Themselves “Freedom Fighters””

Last week we solicited end-of-the-year donations and thanks to the response of kind benefactors we can now say we have received help from 2% of the readership, rather than the 1% we cited previously.

2% support is something of a joke, but we’ve been on a shoestring budget for so long we are are hardened to it, and this On the Contrary blog, thanks to the handful of generous readers who answered our call for assistance, can now resume for the next several weeks.   Continue reading “Winston Churchill; protests in Iran and “Justifying the Ways of God””

The footage on social media has sparked outrage across France, with president Emmanuel Macron promising to bring the culprits to justice.  Macron said: ‘Those guilty of the cowardly and criminal lynching of police doing their duty on the night of December 31st will be found and punished.”

The two officers arrived at a house in Champigny following reports of widespread disorder outside the address, where a New Year’s party was taking place.  A number of people were turned away from the house, which led to fighting in the street.  The attackers ran into a nearby housing estate after destroying the patrol car, which was turned upside down and left in ruins.   Continue reading “France Outraged After Migrants Attack Female Officer In Vicious Beating”

I have been correctly accused of remaining silent about 9/11. Although I frequently talk to 9/11 truth groups about various related topics such as Israel, Zionism and Jewish ID politics, I do not contribute to the discourse involving controlled demolitions and airplanes flying into buildings. Engineering, construction and flying are not within my field of research. Though I am aware of many of the details to do with the 9/11 truth movement, I can’t make any original scholarly contributions in this arena.    Continue reading “Kosherising the 9/11 Truth Movement”

People are raising Cain on social media about a law in Oregon making it legal for citizens to pump their own gas.

A law passed through Oregon’s legislature in May and signed into law in June will allow counties with 40,000 residents or fewer to pump their own gas. Oregonians are not pleased about the change.   Continue reading “People Freak Out After Oregon Strikes Law Banning Self-Service Gas Stations”

An Israeli intelligence report that was provided to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Cabinet, and which has leaked to the media, suggests that the Iranian regime was taken by surprise by the ongoing wave of protests, but is not in danger of collapse — at least, not yet.

Barak Ravid of Israel’s Channel 10, writing at Axios.com, notes: “Big picture: The Israeli Foreign Ministry report says the Iranian regime was surprised by the mass protest and is now trying to contain it through preventive arrests and crackdown on social media — while trying to avoid violent response against protesters.”   Continue reading “Leaked Israeli Intelligence Report: Iran Protests No Threat to Regime — Yet”

President Donald Trump promised to deliver results for DACA activists who are demanding amnesty for illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children.

“Democrats are doing nothing for DACA – just interested in politics,” Trump wrote. “DACA activists and Hispanics will go hard against Dems, will start ‘falling in love’ with Republicans and their President! We are about RESULTS.”   Continue reading “Donald Trump: DACA Amnesty Activists Will Be ‘Falling in Love’ with Republicans”

Police arrested a Los Angeles man on Friday after he made a revenge prank call — a “swatting” — to police in Kansas about a potential hostage incident that resulted in the police killing an innocent man.

Tyler Barriss, 25, was arrested in South Los Angeles on Dec. 29 on suspicion of making a hoax 911 call to Wichita, Kansa to claim that Andrew Finch, 28, had a family argument that resulted in the shooting death of Finch’s father. The call also claimed that Finch was holding his brother, sister, and mother hostage; that he had poured gasoline around the home; and that he intended to light the home on fire in a murder-suicide.  Continue reading “Los Angeles Gamer Arrested After Police ‘Swatting’ Death”

Recently the Walt Disney World resort chain began to phase out those familiar “do not disturb” hotel door hangers that seem to have been around since forever. But the chilling reason this is being done seems to be a sign of the times in which we live.

According to reports, Disney has phased out the signs at its main hotels, The Polynesian, The Grand Floridian, The Contemporary and The Bay Lake Resort. It its place the hotelier has substituted a “room occupied” door hanger, AOL reported.   Continue reading “Chilling Reason Disney is Eliminating ‘Do Not Disturb’ Door Hangers is a Sign of the Times”

The number of homeless students in Oregon increased 5.6 percent in 2016-17, according to a new count released Wednesday. The increase to 22,541 students without a permanent home of their own represents four solid years of growth in such students — and the continuation of more than a decade-long trend.

Beaverton and Portland school districts have the most homeless students in the state, according to the latest count.   Continue reading “Homeless students jump over 5 percent in Oregon, set new record high”

President Donald Trump sent 26 percent fewer Mexicans back home this year through November than Barack Obama did in the same period in 2016, despite vows to crack down on illegal immigration, Mexican government data show.

About 152,000 Mexican nationals were repatriated from the U.S. between January and November, according to data from Mexico’s Interior Ministry that were first reported by Milenio newspaper. That compares with just under 205,000 in the first 11 months of 2016.   Continue reading “Trump Sends Fewer Mexicans Home Despite Deportation Talk”
