Rod Rosenstein has been doling out over $24 million in taxpayer funds to state bureaucrats in Nevada and California under the guise of ‘helping’ the victims of the Mandalay Bay massacre shooting.

Today he announced a new award of over $8 million to assist victims in California but the funds, like a previous $16 million Nevada, do not go directly to the victims. It goes to law enforcement and state boards who can give it to victims — or anyone else — they see fit. “Are they crazy?” Smith asked. “We had to scrape by just to pay for a funeral. I certainly can’t come up with that kind of money.”    Continue reading “California city charging $3,000 deposit to mother seeking records after son killed by police”

A legal battle is underway in the US state of Maryland to reverse an anti-Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) legislation denounced as “unconstitutional”. Syed Saqib Ali – a former Maryland state representative – today filed a civil rights lawsuit against an executive order denying government contracts to businesses that boycott Israel.

The suit – filed in federal court – alleges that the Maryland leaders Gov. Larry Hogan and Attorney General Brian Frosh violated Ali’s First and 14th Amendment rights when Hogan signed an executive order in October 2017 requiring all state contractors to promise they will not boycott Israel.   Continue reading “US ‘unconstitutional’ anti-BDS law challenged in Maryland court”

The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee said Tuesday morning that the U.S. military may have to intervene in Venezuela if Russia places weapons there.

“I think that it could happen,” Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) told the Defense Writers Group. “You’ve got a guy down there that is killing everybody. You could have him put together a base that Russia would have on our hemisphere. And if those things happen, it may be to the point where we’ll have to intervene with troops and respond.”  Continue reading “GOP chairman: US military may have to intervene in Venezuela if Russia does”

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s 1933 executive order outlawing the private ownership of gold in the United States was arguably unconstitutional. But why did he do it ?  Many historians and economists point to efforts to get the economy moving again as the reason, the theory being that people were hoarding gold and the velocity of money in circulation needed to be sped up.

But the real reason for the gold confiscation was a bailout of the privately-controlled Federal Reserve Bank. And the evidence has been printed right in front of our faces.   Continue reading “FDR’s 1933 Gold Confiscation was a Bailout of the Federal Reserve Bank”
