A bill before Kansas lawmakers seeks to ban COVID-19 vaccine mandates at the National Guard and block deployments without a congressional declaration of war, but concerns about losing federal funding could derail the effort.
Senate Bill 370, also known as the Defend the Guard Act, is part of a nationwide effort seeking to bring troops home while compelling Congress “to reassert its authority under the U.S. Constitution” over wars. For the past two years, Yale University has required all students to wear a face mask on campus at all times, which apparently includes at night on a weekend when nobody else is around.
One student learned this the hard way recently after he was caught maskless inside a deserted library at 9:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. There were no other humans in sight so the student decided to relax as nature intended and watch a movie in peace. In a little-known Reuters story that garnered almost no attention in the corporate media, Dutch insurer Aegon revealed its third quarter, 2021 life insurance payouts skyrocketed 258% compared to third quarter, 2020 payouts. The difference, of course, is found in covid vaccines. In 2020, vaccines weren’t yet available, so payouts for Aegon only reached $31 million. But after three quarters of aggressive vaccinations throughout 2021, the death benefit payouts hit $111 million, an increase of 258%. The whole debate about transgenderism is boiling down to a bill that Biden is seeking to pass. Using existing anti-discrimination laws, Biden’s bill will effectively make it illegal to deny a sex change operation to a minor.
The Biden Administration is working to force more insurance companies to cover transgender surgeries. Such genital, breast, and facial surgery, as well as hormone therapy and more, would be considered medically necessary for those wishing to undergo the sex-changing procedure. The US government is no longer using the word ‘imminent’ in its narrative around the alleged Russian ‘invasion’ of Ukraine, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters, on Wednesday, explaining that it was sending an unintended message.
“I used it once. I think others have used that once, and we stopped using it because I think it sent a message that we weren’t intending to send, which was that we knew that President Putin had made a decision,” Psaki said at a press briefing. An uncontrolled fire burns at a North Carolina fertilizer plant early Wednesday as there is still a risk of an explosion, forcing thousands of people to evacuate their homes in surrounding communities, according to local news WXII-TV.
Winston Weaver Co.’s Winston-Salem plant caught fire Monday night and continues to burn days later. The plant produces ammonium nitrate and has more than 500 tons of potentially explosive chemicals in storage.
