Two U.S. Postal Service employees are dead after a shooting at a Memphis postal facility, authorities said.

Kathleen Miller was sleeping when the text from Southwest Airlines arrived at 1:18 a.m. Sunday.
Her 7:30 a.m. flight from Phoenix to Dallas was canceled.

Federal health officials are asking consumers to avoid another brand of hand sanitizers that may be contaminated with cancer-causing chemicals.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Monday that it found “unacceptable levels of benzene, acetaldehyde and acetal contaminants” in certain artnaturals scent-free hand sanitizers. Jewish settlers assaulted Palestinian shepherds in the Khillet Makhoul area, in northern Jordan Valley, on Tuesday, for the second day in a row, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Aref Daraghmeh, a human rights advocate, told WAFA that illegal Jewish settlers have been chasing Palestinian shepherds since the early morning hours, noting that they sprayed one of them with pepper as they kicked them out of the pastures. While there’s been an awful lot of discussion about Joe Biden’s multi-trillion dollar reconciliation bill recently, most of the debate that I’ve seen has surrounded the potential cost, as opposed to what Biden and his fellow Democrats are hoping to do with all that cash. One proposal that’s starting to get some attention, however, is Biden’s plan to require banks to report all consumer transactions of more than $600. According to the White House, this would help the IRS crack down on tax cheats, but as Larry Keane of the National Shooting Sports Foundation writes, the plan would also allow the Biden administration to keep track of gun buyers. A Mexican official claimed that most Haitian migrants aren’t refugees and don’t want to be refugees, they just want to get into the United States.

A North Carolina-based hospital system announced Monday that roughly 175 unvaccinated employees were fired for failing to comply with the organization’s mandatory coronavirus vaccination policy, the latest in a series of health-care dismissals over coronavirus immunization.

Ontario’s medical regulator has barred a family doctor from providing exemptions for COVID-19 vaccines and face masks, alleging that he has deliberately spread misinformation about the ongoing pandemic.
