In a heart-rending decision today, Judge Joseph Johnston gave permanent custody of desperately debilitated 15-year-old Justina Pelletier to the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DC). Lou and Linda Pelletier and their four daughters live in West Hartford, Connecticut, or did until Justina was taken to Boston Children’s Hospital for treatment for the flu. Justina had been treated by Tufts Medical Center’s Dr. Mark Korson for Mitochondrial disease, an inherited condition that one of her sisters also has. Once Justina entered Boston Children’s they kept her. That was over a year ago. Continue reading “Pelletiers Lose Permanent Custody of Daughter Justina”

Cities like Los Angeles have already banned plastic bags. As a matter of fact, the state of California is considering the first state-wide ban of its kind. Hawaii has banned them at checkout counters and Chicago is considering a similar proposal. In San Francisco, who long ago went without bags, water bottles may be the next to go. All in an increasing awareness of our pollution problem and a push to be more environmentally conscious. Continue reading “Bags and Bottled Water: California and Chicago move to Ban Plastics”
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Secret Service sent three agents home from the Netherlands just before President Barack Obama’s arrival after one agent was found inebriated in an Amsterdam hotel.
The three agents were benched Sunday for “disciplinary reasons,” said Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan, declining to elaborate. Donovan said the incident was prior to Obama’s arrival Monday in the country and did not compromise the president’s security in any way. The purpose of survival culture is to assess and address probabilities and uncertainties, and of course, prepare accordingly. We view assumption as the greatest Achilles Heal of humanity, and disdain attitudes of complacency, apathy, and general stupidity. For us, wide eyed and naïve ignorance is a fatal disease; one that gestates during the best of times, and strikes mercilessly during the worst of times. That said, there are some scenarios which even survivalists do not like to think about. Continue reading “Building Your SHTF Gunshot Survival Kit”
Speaking at a brief news conference in the Hague, President Obama said he’s more worried about a nuke being detonated in Manhattan than he is about Russia:
TAP – Read that as a threat to Americans not to react aggressively against Israel for this latest false flag fail. The fail is massively humiliating for the Rothschild Zionists, indicating that they don’t control the world’s intelligence agencies and military forces as much as they thought they did. The threat of revenge against the world that’s not obeying is the natural next step. My guess is that it will be highly counterproductive. Americans should demand the removal of Obama, and the impeachment of the Zionists that believe themselves in control of America….How much more evidence do they want? Aluminum has been long known to be neurotoxic, with mounting evidence that chronic exposure is a factor in many neurological diseases, including dementia, autism, and Parkinson’s disease.
However, definitive scientific proof is difficult to establish due toth the lack of longitudinal studies, as well as pushback from industries that use aluminum in their products. Despite the shortage of conclusive studies, mounting scientific evidence really leaves little room for doubt. Continue reading “First Case Study to Show Direct Link Between Alzheimer’s and Aluminum Toxicity”

As we have progressed farther and farther to virtual money, it’s becoming easier and easier for “them” to take it away (if it ever really existed – which it didn’t.) It’s been quite a few years since I did an in-depth financial review of my family finances, and what I’ve found has been shocking. But the true shock is this: because I never see my money, it could easily be taken away from me without me noticing.
Here’s how it works: Continue reading “How they take your Virtual Money”

For those conducting studies of the harmful effects of marijuana, the federal government has usually been willing to share from its stash, which comes from the only federally sanctioned pot farm in the country. But those looking to find positive uses for the drug have always found Uncle Sam to be bogarting his joint.
Until now. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has finally approved the sale of federally grown marijuana for a study that would research whether pot could help veterans cope with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The Food and Drug Administration approved the study back in 2011, but University of Arizona Professor Suzanne Sisley, who will conduct the study, and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), which is funding it, were unable to get marijuana. Over the past few weeks, one primary issue has blanketed Western media coverage: the situation in Ukraine. Since this issue is of great interest to the world community, it has allowed other developments, especially in the Middle East, to escape public scrutiny.
We have seen relatively little coverage concerning important events in Turkey, Israel and Gaza, Egypt, Syria, Libya and the Persian Gulf that have barely reached the public long enough for them to even notice, let alone analyze. When you plant open-pollinated seeds and save the seeds from that crop, the next generation is going to be like the one before. When a seed regenerates over and over for many years and remains unchanged, or stabilized, it’s then called an “heirloom” variety.
Here’s why you should consider heirloom seed… Continue reading “Heirloom Seed Over Hybrid Seeds”
