Georgetown County, South Carolina, will be having a gun turn in even on Saturday, 2 November, 2013. While these events are commonly labelled with the propaganda term “buyback” the guns were never owned by the people attempting to buy them. It appears that the event is for handguns only. TERRELL — An overnight manhunt in Kaufman County led to the arrest of a 36-year-old Terrell man after five people were found killed at four separate locations Monday.
Charles Everett Brownlow Jr. was arrested following a car chase with police, sheriff’s deputies and state troopers. The chase began Monday night and went into the early morning hours Tuesday. At about 1:30 a.m., the chase ended when Brownlow crashed his car on College Mound Road and fled into a wooded area south of U.S. 80, where he was later apprehended. A Florida police officer, 267-pound Trooper Daniel Cole, was recently cleared of any wrongdoing by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Questions were raised when he tasered a 20 year old handcuffed girl in the back as she fled. The tasering was caught on video showing officer Cole firing the taser at the handcuffed Danielle Maudsley. Maudsley was a mere 100 pound, while Cole outweighed her at two and a half times her weight. She was clearly no threat to him, unless he expected to die from exhaustion chasing her a few yards. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) put a notice in the federal register on Friday that announces the creation of a new division which would take total control of state and local pandemic response.The CDC also plans plans to “Federalize State and Local Health Department employees and add 1000 medical officers to the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service,” according to the details of the video below from Potrblog.
Ostensibly the US Government / Centers For Disease Control is taking this action in preparation for the expected H7N9 Hemorrhagic Avian Influenza Pandemic. In the thought of letting no good crisis go to waste, the situation smacks of the kind of Centralized Planning and Control that all good commies and corporatists love; it also forebodes the systemic failures which injures all but the political connected. Troopers from the Iowa State Patrol have joined the growing number of departments across the country arming their police cars with a new launchable GPS tracking device, aimed at stopping dangerous police chases.
Referred to as a pursuit reduction technology, the StarChase system launches a miniature GPS tracker from a compressed-air cannon mounted on the police vehicle’s grill. Jerusalem (AFP) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Iran is capable of converting low-grade uranium to weapons-grade within weeks.

Investigators are looking into whether mental illness played a role in the death of an off-duty eastern Pennsylvania deputy sheriff after he took his best friend — another off-duty officer — hostage at gunpoint before fatally shooting himself, police said.
State Police Cpl. Shawn Noonan said that investigators are trying to figure out what motivated Carbon County Deputy Sheriff David Midas and said they were interviewing co-workers and family members to see whether there were signs of mental illness.
