In the video below by videographer BeautifulGirlByDana, a very good point is made about how with every earthquake that is strong enough to shake buildings hundreds of miles away, video after video is uploaded with hours and throughout the first day afterward, yet for some odd reason, the 7.3 magnitude quake that hit Fukushima this week, there were very few videos published, but quite a few copying them then reuploading, so it was the same videos, other than news reports, over and over again.   Continue reading “Fukushima Goes Into Stealth Mode On The Internet”

Apache Revolver_001Guns and Ammo – by S.P. Fjestad

If you’re interested in older and unusual European revolver variations, this Apache centerfire revolver might be exactly what you’re looking for. This single action six-shot is chambered for 7.6 mm cal., and when the bullet leaves the chamber, it passes through a hole on the left side of the upper frame—eliminating the need for a barrel.

This gun’s ability to protect someone isn’t just measured in firepower, however. The retractable knuckle duster grip could come in handy if a hand-to-hand fight ensues, and if that isn’t enough, the folding triangular blade can also be used for cutting and stabbing an adversary.   Continue reading “Three Weapons in One: Apache Centerfire Revolver”

Some blog called “Armed With Science” decided to be a propaganda mouthpiece for the NSA for at least one post (perhaps that’s the blogs regular shtick; with a .mil domain, that wouldn’t surprise me). They interviewed General Keith Alexander and let him tell us whatever least untruthful statements he could devise.

“We [the NSA] collect foreign intelligence for our country, and we provide information assurance for national security systems,” Gen. Alexander says.  “We have two great missions, and those missions provide us with some tremendous capabilities.”   Continue reading “NSA Sypymaster: We Need a Way to Violate First Amendment”
