Sam A. Lindsay is a treasonous United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas, with chambers in Dallas, Texas.

Who is Judge Samuel Lindsay? That was the question we recently asked when we read the New York Times article on Barrett Brown’s criminal case that indicated that Brown cannot say anything about his own case that is not in the public record, per a new court order specific to Brown and his attorneys. A “gag order” of this sort caused us to believe that Brown’s right to speak out about his case might be violated and possibly other rights as well, and so we decided to look at the judge who will be overseeing the trial and has made this and other pre-trial rulings. SHOT Show can be crazy and hectic.  It is loud and crowded with everyone clamoring to get a look at the latest and greatest our industry has to offer.  Today while I was fighting through the crowds on the way to an meeting, I happened upon a happy surprise.  A nice, quiet and not crowded surprise.

Behind the NRA booth on the main floor is a small exhibit of antique and unique firearms.  The item are taken from the NRA museums. Spent the week-end in the field.

We operated as a protection force for some folks in a base camp that comprised women and children and threatened by men with bad intent. With a little intel from the base commander and other sources, topo map, and sat photos we put out an op order. We negotiated an ORP with a local landowner and rucked into the AO behind the friendly convoy.
