A Newark NJ police chief said in his retirement speech, “They want us to come to them,” he said. “People don’t want to put their hands up, they want to challenge you.” You can read it here. He continued to reminisce about a time when he started his career, and people just did whatever an officer told them to do. He misses that. I think we all miss a time when walking down the street did not mean you would be contacted by a cop, too.

We all miss the days when police could be trusted. These cops fail to see the situations they created. Then they want to blame the people in society. They blame the abuse on the bad apples. They blame everything else, except their own selves. Helsinki Times

An aerial re-fuelling aircraft of the United States Air Force was sighted passing through Helsinki Airport on Monday. The aircraft has since continued its journey.

Previously, Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft have been sighted in Finland during aerial re-fuelling exercises. Philadelphia Police are in mourning after the loss of one of their own.

Philadelphia Police Officer Robert Wilson III, an 8-year veteran with the 22nd District, died from his injuries after he was shot during a robbery inside a North Philadelphia GameStop.

The Chengdu J-20 is China’s fifth-generation fighter, its response to the US F-35 and the Russian T-50. The J-20 is a stealth aircraft that is currently in its fourth round of prototypes.

The J-20 bears striking resemblance to the F-35 and the F-22, likely due to data theft and Chinese imitation of the skeletons of both planes. China may have the design specifications needed to give the J-20 stealth capabilities that are on par with the F-35.

The unrelenting parade of winter storms continued Wednesday as a swath of snow, sleet, ice and rain was set to fall from Texas to the Northeast, a distance of about 1,500 miles.

Close to 100 million people will be affected by the storm, according to AccuWeather meteorologist Alex Sosnowski.

The petition up on WhiteHouse.gov against mandatory vaccinations — the one the White House tried to bury — has, at the time of writing this, reached well over the 100,000 signatures needed by March 6th in order to supposedly garner a response from our president’s administration.

The petition is short, sweet, and to the point:

No human being should be FORCED to be vaccinated against their will and/or personal/religious beliefs. I petition against making vaccinations of any kind mandatory. This includes forcing children to be vaccinated to attend public schools, activities, and daycare centers.
