IRAQ (INTELLIHUB) — Despite the fact that Obama claimed to end the war in Iraq several years ago, battles continue to rage on throughout the country.  The area is still ravaged with war, running water and electricity are still rare commodities and in many major cities the air still smells of gas and chemicals.

On a regular, almost daily basis, news reports have come from Iraq about mass killings, car bombs and other atrocities committed by the random groups of terrorists who have taken over the country.  After years of lying to the American people about the conditions in Iraq, western politicians are now seeking to call attention to the region’s violence, and using that as a pretense for another invasion.   Continue reading “John McCain Photographed With ISIS Terrorists Last Year”

mccain-rebelsDeadline Live – by Mario Andrade, June 19, 2014

Yesterday, the FBI arrested two more dupes in Texas for trying to join Islamist rebel groups in Syria and Somalia ,and telling an informer about it. They were stopped at the airport and were charged with ‘providing material support to terrorists,’ which was probably a crime they hadn’t actually committed yet – as it is the case with most of these FBI entrapment scenarios.

By the same standards, one could say that Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham have engaged in similar criminal activity. As members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, they have repeatedly called for arming the so-called ‘Syrian rebels,’ who are now in Iraq, taking over the northwestern cities and ready to take over Baghdad.   Continue reading “Arrest John McCain and Lindsey Graham for providing material support to terrorists”

Companies that want to do business with the federal government will no longer be able to discriminate against homosexuals and keep their federal contracts, under a new policy announced by the White House.

President Barack Obama said he intends to sign an executive order barring federal contractors from discriminating against people based on sexual orientation or gender identity.   Continue reading “Obama to Sign Executive Order Barring Anti-Gay Discrimination by Federal Contractors”

As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end. There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn’t any “more.” No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat.

It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, “He was my friend, and I know where he stood.”   Continue reading “My Twilight Years ~ Clint Eastwood”

According to Representative Lou Barletta (shown, R-Pa.), there just may be enough votes in the House to impeach President Obama. Barletta contends that Obama’s flagrant disregard for the Constitution may have created an atmosphere in which he could lose the White House. Whether that actually happens is of course another story entirely.

“He’s just absolutely ignoring the Constitution, and ignoring the laws and ignoring the checks and balances,” Barletta opined June 16 on News Radio 910 WSBA with Gary Sutton.   Continue reading “Rep Says Enough Votes in House to Bring Obama Impeachment”

america's, favorite, weight-loss, doctor, is, in, some, serious, congressional, trouble, Policy Mic – by Eileen Shim

The news: With a doctor’s backing, a weight-loss program that’s clearly a scam can feel surprisingly legitimate, especially when that doctor is a celebrity with his own syndicated daytime show.

Dr. Mehmet Oz is such a doctor, which is why he received a harsh scolding on Tuesday by the Senate subcommittee on consumer corruption. The hearing focused on fake diet products and how celebrity doctors such as Oz help to drive this industry.   Continue reading “America’s Favorite Weight-Loss Doctor Is in Some Serious Congressional Trouble”

sumac antioxidant text 263x164 Sumac, the Super Food with an Off the Charts Antioxidant ValueNatural Society – by Christina Sarich

Eating phytonutrients-dense food is an easy way to boost immunity and slow the aging process. The greater our level of antioxidants, the fewer free-radicals have the chance to ravage our cells. While eating a variety of nutrient-rich foods is ideal since they all provide specific types of antioxidants, some foods stand out above others for their level of these disease-killing nutrients. Sumac, a high-tannin variety of sorghum, is one of them.

The antioxidant value of raw Sumac bran described in ORAC units is 312,400 μ mol TE/100g. This red-orange tangy spice is used the world over as a culinary delicacy, bust also to heal the body.   Continue reading “Sumac, the Super Food with an Off-the-Charts Antioxidant Value”

Processed red meats like bacon have been linked with a higher risk of heart failure.Healthy Life – by Elizabeth Seward

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. Recent research has proven that higher intake levels of processed red meat are linked to higher risks of heart failure. While the dangers of red meat have been confirmed by science over and over again, this most recent study out of the Institute of Environmental Medicine in Stockholm, Sweden takes a closer look at processed red meats.

The processed red meats examined in this study are often preserved through curing, salting, adding preservatives, or smoking. Cold cuts, like salami and ham, as well as sausage, bacon, hot dogs, pepperoni, and many of the meats used in frozen dishes are some examples of common processed red meat.   Continue reading “Processed Red Meat Linked To Higher Risk Of Heart Failure”
