Eight police officers in Argentina, including a former town police commissioner, have been dismissed from their posts after four of them claimed that more than half a ton of missing marijuana was carried off by mice, The Guardian reported Wednesday.

The paper reported that police in the town of Pilar, about 35 miles northwest of Buenos Aires, impounded 6,000 kilograms (13,228 pounds) of marijuana. A judge in Massachusetts on Friday ruled against a lawsuit that questioned the state’s ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines, declaring that the weapons were not protected by the Second Amendment.

A Texas man who was arrested Sunday after police said they found a weapons stockpile that included an AK-47, AR-15 and bump stock in his hotel room told investigators that he was on a classified government mission, The Lowell Sun reported.

Francho S. Bradley, 59, and Adrianne D. Jennings, 40, were taken into custody after Bradley called police to the hotel room to report that someone was breaking in. A judge in Oregon used a bench as a battering ram to break free from a locked courtroom, causing about $3,000 in damage, a report said.

Judge Susie Norby offered to pay for the damage out of her own pocket, but a Clackamas County spokesman said the funds will come from the county’s general fund, meaning taxpayers will foot the bill, the Oregonian reported.

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) said this week that it’s observed a groundswell of support from post-millennials following the mass killing in Parkland, Florida.

SAF recorded a 1,200 percent increase in the number of 18- to 20-year-olds joining and supporting the organization, according to SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. An airport security guard was caught stealing 4,000 Chinese yuan ($628) from a passenger’s carry-on luggage right before it goes through the X-ray machine.

Busakorn Somkwamdee was recorded by a surveillance camera at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, rifling through a tourist’s bag right in front of another passenger.
