US Naval Aviators across the nation have penned an open letter to Capitol Hill and the Pentagon, urging them to consider allowing servicemembers to be armed on base.
The letter, sent to Fox News by Naval Air instructors who wished to remain anonymous, was written in the aftermath of an attack on students at Florida’s NAS Pensacola, when a Saudi officer opened fire on his classmates. Virginia – Earlier in the week, we reported on how lawmakers over in Virginia were threatening to use the National Guard if members of local law enforcement refused to enforce laws passed in the state that they felt violated the second amendment.
Well, looks like Tazewell County isn’t going down without a fight. On top of calling themselves a second amendment sanctuary county, they’re also crafting a militia as well. The Virginia county has taken the movement that has swept across the state and added an element that is sure to trigger pro gun-grabbing politicians in the state. Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan’s former president who has been living outside the country, was sentenced to death in absentia Tuesday on charges of high treason stemming from his decision to suspend the constitution and detain judges in 2007.
Salman Nadeem, a government law officer, told Reuters that Musharraf was found guilty of Article 6 “for violation of the constitution of Pakistan.” The three-person court ruled in favor of the sentence 2-1. President Trump’s Justice Department has shut down an effort to build three miles of private border wall just north of the Rio Grande after the US Attorney’s Office for Texas’s southern district warned that the project could impact the border river and potentially violate a treaty with Mexico.
Despite Trump’s claims that his administration has nearly finished the wall, in reality, Trump has only built 90 miles of border wall. His supporters (who of course blame the Democrats for stymying President Trump at every turn, are now scrambling to finish it to try and cut down on crime and make the border more secure. An illegal alien accused of killing a father of two, Corey Cottrell, in June has been released from law enforcement custody into the United States by an Obama-appointed judge for the second time since Cottrell’s death.
As Breitbart News has chronicled, Jose Rodriguez, a 27-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, is accused of running a red light on June 22 in Illinois, causing him to hit and kill 39-year-old Corey Cottrell, who was riding his motorcycle at the time to visit his mother Kathy. Police said Rodriguez fled the scene of the accident and turned himself in the following day. Flu season arrived early, the virus is now active across the country and 2.6 million people have already fallen ill, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Friday.

Starbucks apologized for an incident that happened on Dec. 12, where two Californian police officers were denied service, according to multiple reports.
The incident happened at a Starbucks located in Riverside, according to a tweet from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. In the tweet, the Sheriff’s Department wrote, “we are aware of the ‘cop with no coffee’ incident that occurred in Riverside on 12/12/19 involving our @RSO deputies. The exodus of people from Venezuela is about to surpass the gravity of that of Syrians, becoming the “largest and most underfunded” refugee crisis in modern history, according to a study the Brookings Institute published this week.
In one of the most authoritative studies on the issue, the institute found that a staggering 4.6 million Venezuelans have fled the country since 2015, equivalent to around 16 percent of the country’s population. (Reuters) – The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear Boise’s defense of its policy of sometimes prosecuting homeless people for sleeping in public after a lower court found ordinances in Idaho’s capital violated the U.S. Constitution’s bar on cruel and unusual punishment.
The justices left in place a 2018 ruling by the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that fining or jailing homeless people for staying outside or in unauthorized places if a bed at an emergency shelter is not available is unconstitutional.
