Richard Haass, director of the Council on Foreign Relations and former high level functionary at the State Department, is calling for attacking ISIS.

The CFR, as Hillary Clinton has readily admitted, drives U.S. foreign policy.

The remarks by Haass foreshadow an expansion of U.S. military action following the Pentagon’s attacks of little consequence on ISIS following the theatrical Mount Sinjar incident and the vastly overstated Yazidis humanitarian situation reported earlier this month.   Continue reading “CFR Boss Calls for Military Action Against ISIS”

The US Navy is looking at how exoskeletons could be used at naval shipyards. Exoskeletons enable workers to operate heavyweight hand tools for longer by transferring the weight of the items from the body directly the ground.

Lockheed Martin’s FORTIS exoskeleton is totally unpowered, yet it distributes heavy weight away from human muscles via its secure and grounded construction.

Lockheed Martin claims the FORTIS exoskeleton’s lightweight ergonomic construction allows its operator to move freely in a natural and flexible way, which greatly increases a worker’s productivity.   Continue reading “US Navy tests power-free industrial exoskeletons”

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance that you have a tattoo. After all, nearly half of the population has decided at some point in their life that it was a good idea to permanently ink an image, or special symbol, onto their skin. The Liberian military have encircled the sprawling West Point slum in Liberian capital Monrovia, with barbed wire to keep the residents inside. The barriers appeared without warning overnight, and coupled with armed soldiers instructed to ‘shoot to kill’, and using tear gas to control increasingly angry crowds, has effectively sealed off the slum to all but the most determined escapees.

West Point borders the ocean, and the coastguard are patrolling the sewage filled waters just off the coast to make sure nobody tries to get out that way.   Continue reading “Liberian Police Using Live Rounds to Enforce Ebola Quarantine Measures on 50,000 People”
