About 4.5 million patients at any of the 206 Community Health Systems-operated hospitals around the United States have had their records stolen by hackers, the company announced Monday. The stolen data includes very sensitive information.

Anyone who received treatment in a CHS-operated hospital over the last five years is affected by the breach. However, patients who were merely referred to one of the company’s hospitals during that time period are also impacted. The hackers stole names, Social Security numbers, physical address, birthdays and telephone numbers in two attacks this spring. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A Northern California slaughterhouse involved in a massive beef recall processed cows with cancer while U.S. livestock inspectors took lunch breaks and later distributed the diseased cattle, according to federal charges announced Monday.

Prosecutors alleged that the owners of Petaluma-based Rancho Feeding Corp. schemed with employees to slaughter about 79 cows with skin cancer of the eye rather than stopping plant operations during inspector lunch breaks. WAYNE – Shootings, an explosion, and innocent people injured at three of Wayne Township’s district schools, but thankfully it was only a drill. The main event took place at Wayne Hills High School.

The Wayne Police Department, working in conjunction with the Board of Education, hosted a multi-agency active shooter exercise on Sunday morning. One week after Six Flags Great Adventure securitydenied a New Jersey veteran admission to the theme park because of the t-shirt he was wearing, Six Flags officially apologized to the veteran.

Mario Alejandro, a 33-year-old father of three from Woodbridge and former coach of the Cardinal McCarrick High School football team, served four years as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps infantry. SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Deep in a mine shaft in the California desert, the body of a pregnant wife of a U.S. Marine was discovered after a search of nearly two months.

Far off in Alaska, a man alleged to have been her lover was arrested on suspicion of homicide. Authorities on Monday outlined the discovery of 19-year-old Erin Corwin and the arrest of 24-year-old Christopher Brandon Lee, who until recently was also a Marine.

The search for Corwin ended Saturday when her body was spotted with a video camera 140 feet down a mine shaft on federal land near her home in Twentynine Palms, where her husband was stationed, San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said. In a report that went largely glossed over by the establishment press, an illegal alien hailing from Honduras broke into a Florida home over the weekend and attempted to sexually assault a young child, a case underscoring the fact that criminal elements are actively exploiting the United States’ lax immigration laws.

FERGUSON, Mo. — Missouri Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson defended the new rule that protesters cannot stand and congregate in one place, saying it would protect community members from criminal elements who were trying to hide in their midst and cause trouble.

“We are not going to let groups congregate and build into larger groups because that’s what causes problems,” Johnson told reporters in a press briefing Monday night, in response to a question from The Huffington Post. “Because what happens is, the peaceful protesters gather, and the other element blends in.
