The games politicians play: Barack Obama is having a lot of fun using the government shutdown to squeeze the public in imaginative ways. The point of the shutdown game is to see who can squeeze hardest, make the most pious speech and listen for the applause. It’s a variation on the grade-school ritual of “you show me yours, and I’ll show you mine.”   Continue reading “The cheap tricks of the game”

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Thursday called out four Colorado Republicans in Congress who opposed a bill to fund disaster relief programs in his state, then turned around and pushed for federal aid when their state was hit by devastating floods.

“They’re hypocrites. That’s what they are,” Christie said of the Colorado Republicans during a telephone town hall meeting Thursday night, in comments first reported by theNewark Star-Ledger. But, he added: “We can’t be vindictive. Because we have to be concerned about the actual people that are being hurt.”   Continue reading “Christie takes on Colorado GOP: ‘They’re hypocrites’”

Hayden noted that Snowden has been nominated for a European human rights award.

Obamacare Website DownThey have been told for over two years this thing was a mess and they are surprised? Just goes to show that people only hear what they want to hear.

The Truth – by Michael Snyder

The launch of Obamacare has been a complete and total nightmare so far.  The “online exchanges” are constantly crashing, there are endless glitches and delays, and many of the people that actually have been able to successfully register for an account are discovering that health insurance premiums under Obamacare are far higher than what they are used to paying.    Continue reading “21 Of The Best Comments Posted By Frustrated Americans On The Official Obamacare Facebook Page”

Motorists accused of failing to pay any government fee, no matter how insignificant, could find their cars held for ransom until the alleged debt is paid under legislation introduced last month in the Michigan state legislature. The Supreme Court said it will take up whether an anonymous 911 call reporting a reckless driver justified a search that led to a pot bust.

In 2008, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher received a tip from a driver who had been run off the road by a silver pickup on Highway 1 near Ft. Bragg. Officers found the truck, followed for several miles and observed no erratic driving.   Continue reading “Supreme Court to decide if police can search your car after receiving an anonymous 911 call”

Blacklisted News – by Lee Rogers

Washington DC was temporarily placed on police lockdown following a bizarre incident where a woman was said to have rammed a security barricade near the White House. After ramming the security barricade the woman who had a young child with her was pursued by several Capitol Police cruisers and brutally shot to death by the cops. The incident resulted in an immediate police lockdown of the area with a bunch of government goons roaming around the area with weapons. The corporate media even jumped over the story providing continuous coverage while presenting the incident as a possible terror attack. Although additional details are bound to come out shedding more light on this situation, new reports have revealed that the woman was unarmed. This raises serious questions about the actions of the Capitol Police not to mention the blatant media sensationalism surrounding this event.   Continue reading “Capitol Car Chase And Shooting Happens The Same Day As Major First Responder Drill In DC Area”

The Lost Lessons of "Black Hawk Down"War on the Rocks – by Benjamin Runkle

Today marks the 20th anniversary of The Battle of Mogadishu, the American operation in Somalia later immortalized by Mark Bowden’s seminal non-fiction book “Black Hawk Down” and dramatized in Ridley Scott’s exhilarating but slightly less non-fictional movie of the same name. On October 3, 1993, 160 U.S. Army Rangers and other special operations forces launched what was supposed to be a routine raid to capture two lieutenants of Somali warlord Mohammed Farah Aideed. But when two MH-60L helicopters providing fire support were shot down, the operation became a desperate search and rescue mission in which U.S. forces were besieged overnight by thousands of heavily armed Somali militiamen. Fourteen hours after the operation’s start, eighteen Americans were dead, 84 were wounded, and one pilot was missing.   Continue reading “The Lost Lessons of “Black Hawk Down””

Reason:

California Gov. Jerry Brown will soon decide whether to sign a bill that expands his state’s “assault weapon” ban to cover any centerfire rifle with a detachable magazine. That’s a very broad category, the National Rifle Association notes, since “millions of semi-automatic rifles have magazines that can be removed with the push of a button,” including ”classic hunting rifles like the Remington Woodsmaster, Browning BAR, and the Ruger 99/44, among many others.” Continue reading “California’s Legislature Says Hunting Rifles Are Assault Weapons”

Although the FDA gave a two year deadline to remove thimerosal from vaccines after the deadly neurotoxin was banned in 1999, they continue to appear in vaccine formulations to this day. The FDA now supports thimerosal in up to 60 percent of flu vaccines, many which are approved for children for the 2013/2014 flu season.

The public is still so propagandized by mainstream medicine and the media, that they are blind to the facts relating to the FDA’s reversal on their decision of allowing thimerosal into vaccines.    Continue reading “Despite Thimerosal (Mercury) Ban Imposed By The FDA, 60 Percent of All Flu Vaccines Still Contain This Deadly Neurotoxin”
