A Pentagon report, revealed by The New York Times over the weekend, showed that the American troops working alongside Iraqi forces were at risk of harm from Sunni extremists who had infiltrated the Iraqi Army (and, perhaps, from the pro-Iranian Shiite militias that effectively are the Army.) On Monday, Rear Adm. John Kirby told reporters that “it would be imprudent, irresponsible not to think about the insider threat.” The threat is real in Afghanistan as well where insider threats, so-called “green-on-blue” attacks, have killed several U.S.troops in recent years.   Continue reading “Could a Brain Scan Protect U.S. Troops from Insider Attacks?”

WASHINGTON – President Obama said he won’t go to the border because he doesn’t want to do a “photo-op.”

But a Texas congressman who just returned from the U.S. border with Mexico said the right presidential photo-op could actually solve the humanitarian crisis there, and stop the flood of illegal immigrants crossing into the country.

Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, said the head of the border guard union told him, “If President Obama stood by an airplane and returned the people to Guatemala, that, overnight, it would stop the flow.”   Continue reading “Illegals ‘bigger invasion than Normandy’”

The Free Thought Project – by Matt Agorist

If a person in the private sector went to work one day, got belligerent with someone in another department, and then assaulted that person, they would not only be fired, but could also face jail time.

However, if you are in the public sector, like a police officer, you can be grossly negligent, abusive, and assault someone; instead of being fired or facing jail time, you can go on a paid vacation and keep your job.   Continue reading “Trooper that Choked an Ambulance Driver and Got to Keep Job, In Hot Water Again”
