The alleged shooting at the Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut in December of last year has caused quite a bit of friction and disagreement amongst the staff at American Free Press. Here I will attempt to explain my views on this controversial subject, which stand in stark contrast to the position taken by Michael Collins Piper in his recent article entitled, “Internet Rife with Disinformation: “Cyber Shills” working to misdirect, embarrass legitimate conspiracy researchers,” published on page 18 in issue number 43 of AFP’s print edition. In this new Police State, even the police are thugs. They will abuse you, rob you, take your property, all in the guise of protecting and serving us! This twisted logic has us at the point of no return. The People will either rise up against this abuse or they will comply and be slaves. Police officers are forcing people to choose between time behind bars or turning over their money and property — all without ever making an arrest. Fight civil asset forfeiture abuse. Libertarian activist Adam Kokesh has been in jail for 114 days (92 of which he was held by the feds) with no bond, no bail, and no trial. 57 of those days were in solitary confinement.
Clearly, this Kokesh fellow is a dangerous threat to society… Right?
Nonsense, say many of those who know Kokesh well. In fact, they argue that Adam Kokesh is anything but dangerous. Continue reading “Adam Kokesh, A Modern Day Political Prisoner?”
New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- It should come as no surprise that NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg is trying to use his name and cash to attack pro Second Amendment candidates here in NJ and across the country.
We have been told that his latest attempt at buying people’s rights comes in the form of pouring cash into the group Hunterdon United For Gun Safety (HUGs) specifically so they can attack District 16 ASW Donna Simon for her pro Second Amendment stance. Now a pumpkin thief‘s been carved up, rhetorically speaking.
Eric Fidler spotted this amazing sign in D.C.’s LeDroit Park neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, and posted a photo of it to his blog.
In case you can’t make out what the sign says, Fidler transcribed it thusly, with the not-so child-friendly language redacted: Continue reading “Parent’s Sign Makes A Pumpkin Thief Eat Humble Pie”
Will your teen behave like…well, a teen…when the SHTF?

In a recent quite startling appearance in Phoenix, Arizona that was covered by every major Network News, it was revealed that Kathleen Sebelius believes that she does not work for “we the people” in general by making a comment specifically referring to those that do not support Obamacare (aka “The Affordable Healthcare Plan”).
The Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) made this starting admission by actually stating that she doesn’t work for the people that want her fired. Continue reading “Did Cabinet Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Publicly Resign as Secretary of Health and Human Services”

Russia’s army is set to adopt a new assault rifle that performs effectively both on the ground and underwater. The ADS assault rifle, can fire standard-issue 5.45-mm cartridges when above the water with accuracy and effectiveness similar to that of AK-74s.
According to Ria Novosti when submerged and loaded with special 5.45-mm PSP ammunition, the ADS outperforms the service-issue, Soviet-designed APS underwater assault rifle in terms of accuracy and ease of handling. Continue reading “Russian Commandos to Adopt New Underwater Assault Rifles”

A Florida police officer, 267-pound Trooper Daniel Cole, was recently cleared of any wrongdoing by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Questions were raised when he tasered a 20 year old handcuffed girl in the back as she fled. The tasering was caught on video showing officer Cole firing the taser at the handcuffed Danielle Maudsley. Maudsley was a mere 100 pound, while Cole outweighed her at two and a half times her weight. She was clearly no threat to him, unless he expected to die from exhaustion chasing her a few yards. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) put a notice in the federal register on Friday that announces the creation of a new division which would take total control of state and local pandemic response. The CDC also plans plans to “Federalize State and Local Health Department employees and add 1000 medical officers to the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service,” according to the details of the video below from Potrblog.
Ostensibly the US Government / Centers For Disease Control is taking this action in preparation for the expected H7N9 Hemorrhagic Avian Influenza Pandemic. In the thought of letting no good crisis go to waste, the situation smacks of the kind of Centralized Planning and Control that all good commies and corporatists love; it also forebodes the systemic failures which injures all but the political connected.
