BATON ROUGE, LA – A grandmother and mother have been arrested on murder charges for the alcohol-poisoning death of the mother’s 4-year-old daughter.
The child died April 21 after her grandmother allegedly forced her to finish off a bottle of whiskey after believing the child had taken a sip from the bottle, police said. Interests based in China contributed over $168 million to 46 American colleges and universities during a six-month period in 2021, according to data compiled by The College Fix.
The Department of Education Foreign Gift Reporting database lists over 200 donations from China to U.S. institutions of higher education between January 1 to July 1. Additionally, earlier this month, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced it had started investigating safety defects in EV batteries. Following a January report of a leaked ATF email documenting plans to begin seizing lawfully-owned forced reset and wide-open triggers for AR-15 platforms, Rare Breed Triggers’ vendor was raided by the federal government in late March, according to the company.
A customer attempting to purchase Rare Breed’s Forced Reset Trigger received an email on April 20 from the company’s customer service team explaining the order was canceled because, on March 25, the ATF raided their vendor, which inhibited them from shipping triggers.
