Here’s a top-shelf video of a man countering the make-up-a-law-and-enforce-it routine of an armed government worker in Florida.
The man is accosted by the AGW who (like a lot of AGWs) obviously does not like legal open carry. The AGW says he “just wants to make sure everything’s all right.” The man replies by pointing out that it is. Actor James Woods was locked out of his Twitter account on Sunday for a tweet from July that the site said was in violation of its rules.

MARIANNA — Prosecutors are dropping charges in at least two dozen cases initiated by a former Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputy who’s under investigation for allegedly planting drugs on people during traffic stops.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed Wednesday it opened an investigation Aug. 1 into Deputy Zachary Wester at the request of the Sheriff’s Office, located in Marianna. The autumnal equinox is upon us: On Saturday, September 22, both the Northern and Southern hemispheres will experience an equal amount of daylight. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, it marks the beginning of fall, with daylight hours continuing to shorten until the winter solstice in December. For those south of the equator, it’s the beginning of spring. Google is celebrating it with a Google Doodle of a falling leaf.

Oakland, CA — Body camera footage from the deadly shooting of an Alameda father has just been released despite the fact that police killed him over 3 years ago. Demouria Hogg, 30, was found unconscious behind the wheel of his car on the morning of June 6, 2015. Forty minutes after police began a stand off with him, he would be shot and killed.

Before his links to the world was cut by his Ecuadorian hosts, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange gave an interview on how technological advances are changing humankind. He said global surveillance will soon be totally unavoidable.
The interview was provided to RT by organizers of the World Ethical Data Forum in Barcelona. Assange, who is currently stranded in the Ecuadorean embassy in London with no outside communication except with his legal team, has a pretty grim outlook on where humanity is going. He says it will soon be impossible for any human being to not be included into global databases collected by governments and state-like entities. Dallas, TX – Disturbing body camera footage has been released from the shooting of a man who police claimed was mistaken for a thief as he sat in the vehicle he owned.The video shows that when the man was approached by an officer, he attempted to comply before he was shot twice in the back.
Lyndo Jones is lucky to be alive after his encounter with police in November 2017 left him with severe injuries that forced him to spend several days in the intensive care unit. It has taken several months, but some footage from the night Jones was shot has finally been released, and it shows that the officer who confronted him was agitated from the start. Update: During a brief press conference, Harford County police confirmed that several people were killed in Thursday’s shooting (anonymously sourced reports put the number at 3). They also confirmed that the shooter was a woman, and that she is now in custody. The shooter used a handgun, they said.

FORESTVILLE, Md. – Two police officers were shot in Forestville Wednesday night, Prince George’s County police say.
