We’ll never know how many veterans exposed to the chemical TCE (trichloroethylene) have died from cancer, but we know the number is very high, and also that many have battled cancer and survived.

The US government, the Dept. of the Navy in particular, has avoided admitting that TCE is a direct threat to the health of those who served on TCE-laden bases, except when forced.    Continue reading “Google employees exposed to TCE”

The Statesman published a really great, in-depth story about the emerging drone industry in Austin, led by DJI Innovations, a Chinese company that’s recently set up shop in the overly-hip high tech hub.

Here’s a quick recap and critique (the story’s got some bias-I mean problems), but if you’re an Austinite, consider buying a premium online subscription to the Statesman; it’s pretty nifty.    Continue reading “Forget Weird, More Like Well-Monitored – Drones Coming to Austin”

Governments Spy On Their Citizens for Control and Power

Top terrorism experts say that mass spying on Americans doesn’t keep us safe.

High-level American government officials have warned for 40 years that mass surveillance would lead to tyranny.   They’ve warned that the government is using information gained through mass surveillance in order to go after anyone they take a dislike to. And a lieutenant colonel for the Stasi East German’s –based upon his experience – agrees.   Continue reading “Government Spying Has Always Focused On Crushing Dissent … Not On Keeping Us Safe”

SAN FRANCISCO — The tragic crash of Asiana “Flight 214″ that left two 16-year old girls dead Saturday, possibly might have more to it than meets the eye.

The Chicago Tribune reported the official story explaining how the, “NTSB Chair Deborah Hersman, speaking at a news conference at the airport, said there were no indications of any problems with the plane or the landing until 7 seconds before impact, when the crew tried to increase the plane’s speed. Last Ranch on the Right – by Loadup12

A nation governed by the rule of law.  We are free men and women who live not at the mercy of fiat or public opinion, but rather operating under a Constitution that spells out the limits and role of government and protects the rights of individuals and the States.  Sounds good in theory but how much of it remains?  The Constitution and the rule of law are under assault.   Continue reading “Dismantling the Constitution”

Dear President,

I’m planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me. We’re planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico and we’ll need your help to make a few arrangements. We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I’m sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, the President of Mexico, that I’m on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:   Continue reading “Mr. President, I’m Moving to Mexico”

Sandpoint, Idaho — The American Red Cross (ARC) is widely considered a great American institution. It is generally thought of as among the world’s premier humanitarian organizations. Clearly, almost everyone thinks of it as a life-saving agency. Most people know this non-governmental organization (NGO) to be heavily dependant upon the blood and currency generously donated by the American people. But, what if all of the above is untrue? What if everything you think you know about the American Red Cross is a ghastly nauseating lie?   Continue reading “The American Red Double Cross”

latakia arms depot explosionGlobal Research – by Richard Silverstein

A massive explosion last Thursday at a major Syrian weapons depot in Latakia, not far from the main port of Tartus, completely destroyed the facility and munitions stored there.

Tartus is Syria’s main port.  It is largely controlled by the Russian military, and the route by which all weapons transported by sea would enter Syria.  As such, any advanced Russian weaponry would enter via Tartous and might be stored in the Latakia depot.    Continue reading “Act of War: Israel Attacks Syrian Weapons Depot Containing Advanced Russian Arms”
