billy best chemo run 263x164 Cancer Boy Ran Away from Chemo 20 Years Ago, Is Alive and Well Due to Alternative SolutionsNatural Society – by Paul Fassa

In 1994, a nationwide TV News stir took over the airwaves featuring a cancer riddled teenage runaway with parents pleading for his return. The runaway’s name was Billy Best, and he returned home on one condition: No chemo! He and his parents went alternative.

Now, he is very healthy and cancer-free, back home working in a local health food store, consulting parents of children who are pushed into chemo and participating in medical school seminars on patient choice. He continues to be interviewed by alternative news sites whenever a story breaks on families having to become fugitives for refusing chemo and radiation on their children. He and his mom have a site, too, which can be found here.   Continue reading “Cancer Boy Ran Away from Chemo 20 Years Ago, Is Alive and Well Due to Alternative Solutions”

This is interesting. After reading this, you’ll never look at a banana in the same way again. Bananas contain three natural sugars – sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.

Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world’s leading athletes.   Continue reading “After reading this, you’ll never look at a banana in the same way again”

With Russia continuing to diplomatically assure the world that no invasion is pending, and rather comically asking for President Obama’s benevolent aid in policing the treatment of Russians in non-Crimean Ukraine; it seems from all actions (as opposed to words) that Putin is pressing ahead with building his forces (up to 60,000) around the divided nation and as Dmitry Tymchuk notesplanning for invasion from Chernihiv to Donetsk. Internal politics continue to roil as Klitschko pulls out of the Presidential election (just as the US wanted) but we suspect the Ukrainians will be confused to discover their USA saviors have been spying on the future Premier Tymoshenko for years. The people of Ukraine are likely a little upset at We are sure Kerry and Lavrov will have plenty to discuss tomorrow in Paris and perhaps the following map will be a good starting point.   Continue reading “Meanwhile, Tens Of Thousands Of Russian Troops Continue Piling Up At Ukraine’s Borders – The Full Update”

Guinea has received confirmation that a mysterious disease that has killed up to 59 people in the West African country, and may have spread to neighbouring Sierra Leone, is the hemorrhagic fever Ebola, the government said on Saturday.

Cases of the disease – among the most virulent pathogens known to infect humans, with a fatality rate of up to 90 per cent – have been registered in three southeastern towns and in the capital Conakry since Feb. 9. It has never before been recorded in Guinea.   Continue reading “Ebola epidemic confirmed in Guinea, death toll quickly rising”

Prayer in school / Youtube screenshotThe Daily Caller – by Robby Soave

A little girl claimed that her lunch lady caught her praying in the cafeteria and forced her to stop–and the Youtube video of the adorable tyke telling her parents about it has become a viral sensation.

Constitutional law generally holds that schools can’t formally incorporate prayer into the curriculum ,and public officials can’t require prayer. Students should be allowed to pray on their own, however.   Continue reading “War on Religion alert: Adorable little girl says lunch lady made her stop praying”

MilkReason – by Baylen Linnekin

Earlier this week, Rep. Thomas Massie (R–Ky.) introduced an important set of bills that would loosen slightly the FDA’s stranglehold on the interstate shipment and sale of raw milk. In another welcome development, Massie said he intends to introduce other “food freedom”-themed bills later this year.

Rep. Massie, a farmer who raises and markets grass-fed beef, was joined in sponsoring the bills by Rep. Chellie Pingree (D–Maine) and a total of eighteen other House members from both sides of the aisle.   Continue reading “House Raw Milk Bills Give Hope to Farmers, Consumers”

In 2011, the Obama administration proposed revising rules concerning the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to allow federal agencies to conceal information requested, fabricate information or deny the information existed to keep citizens, advocates and journalists from knowing the truth.

Under the guise of protecting national security secrets, those requests falling under FOIA would be in jeopardy with the issuance of a Glomar response – when the government neither confirms nor denies the existence of the requested material.   Continue reading “Revision to FOIA Rules Keeps Evidence of Vaccine Dangers From Public”

Los Angeles earthquakeThe Guardian

A magnitude-5.1 earthquake centered south of Los Angeles on Friday shook residents throughout Southern California and sent bottles and cans tumbling off shelves in stores, produced a rock slide that closed a road and forced a brief shutdown of rides at Disneyland. There were no reports of major damage or injuries.

In the Orange County city of Fullerton, 20 apartment units and half a dozen homes were red-tagged for possible damage, displacing 83 people, police Lieutenant Mike Chlebowski said. Southern California Edison reported power outages to about 2,000 customers following the quake.   Continue reading “More than 100 aftershocks reported in Los Angeles earthquake”

The Importance of Illumination in Your PrepsThe Organic Prepper

How important is light?  Well, in the Bible, on the  first day, the very first thing God created was light. This signifies exactly how vital a role illumination plays in  any situation.

Any person who has ever moved from the city to the country can agree, there is no darkness quite like that of being in a place where there are no streetlights, no neon signs, no car headlights, and no light from nearby houses.   Continue reading “Let There Be Light: The Importance of Illumination in Your Preps”

A 15 year old high school student by the name of Jeremy Rich uploaded a photo of what he says is a survey on bullying he filled out at Kingwood HS (Texas?). His responses to the questions are redirected as a scathing criticism against the increasing indoctrination of children in US schools.   Continue reading “HS student turns bullying survey into epic criticism of statism, dumbing down of America”

Obama was scheduled to have what was described as an “intimate” dinner with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia over the weekend, and stay the night in the Kingdom. Howvever the dinner abruptly ended, and Obama left Saudi Arabia after only two hours.

What are the odds, in today’s world, of 26 victimized families ALL deciding not to sue a multi-millionaire who is a seemingly easy target?

Peter Lanza has a lot of money. Whether you believe he is responsible for the actions of his son, or not, you can not deny that the man is loaded by most people’s standards. Are you aware that he was paying Nancy Lanza over $250,000 a year to take care of Adam?   Continue reading “Why are there NO SANDY HOOK VICTIM’S LAWSUITS?”

Chronic disease is extremely common in aging Americans. jail marijuana 263x164 Some Marijuana Convictions may Be Reversed in ColoradoNatural Society – by Elizabeth Renter

In an earlier NaturalSociety post I reported on a viral article that ‘comically’ reported that Colorado pot prisoners would be released due to marijuana legalization. Though that viral article was fake, some marijuana convictions may actually be reversed in Colorado. While it’s highly unlikely that the state will release all marijuana offenders or reverse all past convictions, some may have their convictions thrown out after a ruling from a state appellate court  last week.   Continue reading “Some Marijuana Convictions may Be Reversed in Colorado”
