Almost seven decades after being the scene of one of the most ferocious and protracted battles of World War II – a site of legendary valor and sacrifice on the part of American soldiers – some U.S. service personnel stationed in Okinawa today are treating the world to another kind of display: “Gay” and lesbian service personnel performing in drag, to raise funds for their activities, to a sellout audience.   Continue reading “‘Gay’ U.S. soldiers sing, dance in drag”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

While the images and local news have been suggesting that Russia is in control on the Crimean peninsula, US officials (according to Bloomberg) have confirmed this:

Document Exploitation

I can now confirm that the reason why the CIA could not locate its file on Noam Chomsky, despite the fact that the CIA had in fact maintained records on him, is that the CIA destroyed them and, unfortunately in my view, the destruction was authorized by the Archivist of the United States.

As background, in an earlier post “More CIA Records on Noam Chomsky the CIA Could Not Find” I analyzed some additional CIA records (see, e.g.,  here from 1967, herehere, and here from 1970, and here from 1971) showing that the CIA was documenting the activities of Noam Chomsky as part of the CIA’s CHAOS/MHCHAOS program. Importantly, those documents were located in the “Segregated Collection” of CIA records that were provided to the House Select Committee on Assassinations established in 1976 to investigate the assassinations of JFK and MLK, which are available in full-text search from the Mary Ferrell Foundation.    Continue reading “Confirmed: The CIA Destroyed Its Noam Chomsky File and Thousands More on Other U.S. Citizens”

Greenland 1-resizedJet Rad James

By a pilot who wants to know the real story.

I’ve flown half way round the world and back during the past week and a half.  I’ve crisscrossed the Arabian Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.  I’ve been within spitting distance of the equator and seen the snow-covered landscape of Greenland!

All my raw results are posted below.  You be the scientist.  Can you make any conclusions of your own?  Does changing altitude make much of a difference at the equator?  Does it make a difference over Greenland?  What’s the average dose at 41,000′ down south?  How about up north?  What’s the dosage rate over Europe?   Continue reading “Research Project on High Altitude Radiation: Around the World in 8 Days”

Whether you are prepping for the zombie apocalypse or the aftermath of a hurricane, self-defense is an important aspect of surviving any disaster.  Everyone has their preference as to what qualifies as the best survival weapon. History has proven the rifle to be the best all-purpose firearm to face a variety of combat and self-defense scenarios.

However, a rifle should only be part of what many preppers refer to as a layered defense system.  It doesn’t matter if you are bugging out or sheltering, your need to arm yourself with a variety of weaponry, self-defense skills and training is the same.  With that said, if you could have only one firearm in a survival situation it should be a quality rifle.   Continue reading “The Top 6 Survival Rifles and Why You Need One”

According to a freedom of information request  by MuckRock, Wisconsin State Police have received 160 M-16 automatic military rifles. The Department of Defense’s 1033 program is to blame. The program allows for local law enforcement agencies to get their hands on these goodies. The 1033 program also permits the resale or transfer of military weapons and vehicles to local departments.   Continue reading “Wisconsin State Police Receive 160 Automatic M-16 Rifles”

America’s top finger-waggers and table-thumpers were busy wagging and thumping their way across the full CBS/ABC/CNN/FOX spectrum this morning.

Albright, Brzezinski, Kerry, Rubio etc etc …..

The only dissenting voice in the torrent of Russophobia was a brief spot given to Professor Stephen Cohen of Princeton, whom the network bookers must have gotten confused with the more famous Steve Cohen of Connecticut.   Continue reading “Top Putin-haters hyperventilate across Sunday morning talk shows”

Don’t look now but  the very short fuse in Eastern Europe is getting perilously close to ignition.

Also don’t look now but our Commander-in-Chief, after issuing his typical useless rhetoric regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine, is on his way to Connecticut to talk about the minimum age.   Continue reading “Putin on the attack, Obama on his way to Connecticut!”
