It’s now or never for opponents of President Barack Obama’s lawlessness on illegal immigration.

Saying America faces a “perilous hour,” and members of Congress are entering a “momentous week” when it comes to the future of the separation of powers, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) urged his colleagues on Monday to “be counted” and “stand up” to Obama’s “lawless actions, and sponsor legislation that will block him” from granting amnesty to millions more illegal immigrants.   Continue reading “Jeff Sessions on Obama’s Executive Amnesty: Congress Faces ‘Time of Choosing’ at ‘Perilous Hour’”

Illegal immigrant demonstrators were protesting outside the White House on Monday – but don’t expect America’s immigration officers to intervene.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement official indicated that even if the protesters end up getting arrested by D.C. police, they’d have to be serious criminals for ICE to get involved.

“Unless the individuals meet ICE’s enforcement priorities, it’s unlikely that the agency would get involved in the case,” the official told FoxNews.com.   Continue reading “Illegal immigrants protest outside White House, with little fear of repercussions”

One cop on the Enfield Police force stood out, Matthew Worden.  Not because he saved kittens stuck in trees. From the Hartford Courant:

Enfield, a department with nearly 100 sworn officers, has had 26 civilian complaints in the past four years. One-third of those were against Worden, records show. In 2013, Worden had half of the six citizen’s complaints against the department.

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) will introduce legislation on Tuesday to put sweeping new limits on U.S. surveillance and peel back the curtain on controversial spying programs.

The aggressive bill seeks to address concerns that tech companies and civil liberties proponents had about the House’s attempt to rein in National Security Agency (NSA) by restricting agents to narrow, targeted searches of records about people’s phone calls as well as making the spying regime more transparent.   Continue reading “Leahy unveils ‘historic’ NSA reform bill”

TUCSON (AP) — An unusual amount of rain that ravaged parts of southern Arizona also knocked down 60 feet of the rebar-reinforced steel fence that divides the U.S. and Mexico.

The storms began Friday in Sonora, Mexico, and resumed Saturday night until Sunday morning, when debris from the Mexican side of the border traveled through a wash and piled up against the border fence. The fence, just west of the Nogales-Mariposa Port of Entry near Interstate 19, stood between 18 and 26 feet high and extended at least 7 feet underground.   Continue reading “Storms knock down border fence section in Nogales”

Almost exactly one year ago today, I published a post which went on to become extremely popular titled: Why You Should Never, Ever Drive Through Tenaha, Texas. If you failed to read it the first time around, I suggest you take look as it provides a good outline of just what is at stake when it comes to this destructive and abusive practice increasingly utilized by police departments across these United States with zero repercussions for the offending officers. In last years article I noted that:   Continue reading “Asset Forfeiture – How Cops Continue to Steal Americans’ Hard Earned Cash with Zero Repercussions”

WASHINGTON — More than 35 percent of Americans have debts and unpaid bills that have been reported to collection agencies, according to a study released Tuesday by the Urban Institute.

These consumers fall behind on credit cards or hospital bills. Their mortgages, auto loans or student debt pile up, unpaid. Even past-due gym membership fees or cellphone contracts can end up with a collection agency, potentially hurting credit scores and job prospects, said Caroline Ratcliffe, a senior fellow at the Washington-based think tank.   Continue reading “Study: 35 percent in US facing debt collectors”

Syria is now the “predominant battleground for extremists” plotting to attack the United States, as the number of foreign fighters now has exceeded 12,000 and is rising rapidly, the United States counterterrorism chief said on Friday.

The new figure issued by Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, represents a stunning 50 percent increase in just three months of fighters flocking to Syria, where Olsen said al-Qaeda veterans have traveled to take advantage of the lawless war zone to recruit and train jihadists to attack the West.   Continue reading “The Number of Foreign Fighters in Syria Now Exceeds 12,000 and Rising”

A single mother in Georgia used a firearm to stop a car thief on Friday night. The attempted theft took place just one night after the woman’s apartment was broken into.

In January the U.S.-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned that the next plane could bring a pandemic.

At the time, they were referring to highly contagious strains of deadly flu virus, but in reality any killer virus could travel around the globe in less than a day.

In March we warned that the deadly Ebola virus, which kills upwards of 85% of its victims, was spreading at an alarming pace in West Africa. It was so serious that governments in the region had locked down their borders. The following month in April, officials in the U.S. and Canada were alerted that the virus may have made its way to North America, though no follow-up information was provided after the initial report. Then, just last month, the World Health Organization issued a dire warning – Ebola could go global.    Continue reading “ALERT: Delivered By Airplane: Ebola Now Threatens 21 Million People In Major Metro Area”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (INTELLIHUB) — President Barack Obama is back at it again, now threatening the use of Executive Orders once again to possible provide 5 million illegal migrants temporary citizenship by summer’s end, reports say. This would apply to about 5 million of 11 million migrants who have overextended their visas.

Now some like myself speculate that House Speaker John Boehner’s lawsuit against Obama is nothing more than smoke and mirrors for the American people as Boehnerhas turned down the idea of impeachment on numerous occasions, showing that they are all two peas of the same pod.   Continue reading “Obama to grant 5 million illegals temporary citizenship status”

Fox Business Network’s John Stossel released a very disturbing report on the abuses of Americans at the hands of Border Patrol agents who are stopping cars 100 miles inland from our borders all across the nation–not just in the southwest. They are breaking into cars, tazing Americans, detaining them, and then releasing them with no charges after this violent encounter. Meanwhile they are letting Illegals run across the border free as you please !

Stossel found that the U.S. border Patrol is allowed to set up roadblock for 100 miles inland from the outer border of our entire country. But, as it happens, the largest portion of the country’s population lives within 100 miles from a border.   Continue reading “Border Patrol Attacking Americans, Letting Illegals Go”

In an escalation of tensions, the Obama administration accused Russia on Monday of conducting tests in violation of a 1987 nuclear missile treaty, calling the breach “a very serious matter” and going public with allegations that have simmered for some time.

The treaty confrontation comes at a highly strained time between President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin over Russia’s intervention in Ukraine and Putin’s grant of asylum to National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden.   Continue reading “US: Russia Violated 1987 Nuclear Missile Treaty”

GAZA CITY — Ten Palestinians were reported killed Monday when a missile hit a refugee camp here and nine Israeli soldiers died in multiple clashes as a major Muslim holiday brought no respite from tragedy in this troubled region.

Fighting between Israel and Palestinian militants roared on as Muslims celebrated the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, marking the completion of month-long, dawn-to-dusk fasting for Ramadan. Hamas had agreed Sunday to hold fire ahead of the holiday, but even a strong statement from the U.N. Security Council calling for an “immediate and unconditional” cease-fire failed to keep the peace.   Continue reading “Holiday brings no respite from death in Gaza, Israel”
