The U.S. Navy says that the sailor who was shot earlier this week at the Navy Operations Support Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has died.

SAN FRANCISCO — California officials say more than half of new drivers’ licenses issued in the state this year have gone to people who are in the country illegally.
The California Department of Motor Vehicles reported Friday it has issued roughly 397,000 licenses under a state law that allows people who are in the country illegally to apply for licenses to drive. Like a turd that won’t flush, Donald Trump is back again to serve his Illuminati Jewish masters. This time around, his role is to win the GOP nomination and throw the election to Hillary Clinton, the Illuminati bankers’ preferred candidate.
If this seems far fetched, consider that Trump is allegedly leading the other GOP candidates by a large margin. He catapulted into the lead by pretending to champion ordinary Americans who are fed up with illegal immigration. Calling Mexicans “rapists” is a little extreme but he needed to get attention fast. Members of the Apache tribe stood chanting in a circle with drums and posters in the center of New York’s Times Square on Friday, to protest against a bill that will hand over land they hold sacred to a foreign mining corporation.
Times Square was the latest stop for activists from the Apache tribe who are travelling across the United States to battle for Oak Flat and to draw attention to a bill introduced by Arizona representative Raúl M Grijalva to repeal the decision to hand the land over to Resolution Copper. A fast-moving brush fire swept over the 15 Freeway in San Bernardino County on Friday, destroying 20 vehicles, damaging 10 others and threatening several mountain communities. Five homes have been damaged.
In a region where brush fires are a way of life, the scene on the main route to Las Vegas was surreal. OKLAHOMA CITY — Confederate battle flags greeted President Barack Obama as he arrived here for an overnight stay on Wednesday.
Across the street from his hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, as many as 10 people waved the flags as his motorcade arrived. The group stood among a larger group of demonstrators, many of them there to support the president, who is in town ahead of a visit to a federal prison on Thursday as part of his weeklong push on criminal justice issues. Update, 6 p.m.: Staten Island Borough President Jimmy Oddo says Staten Island’s bridges are reopening. However, the NYPD tells Patch that police checkpoints are still operating at all the bridges as they continue to search for the suspects, causing major traffic delays.
Police now believe the suspects were carrying paintball guns, not rifles. You can find the NYPD’s most recent statement on the situation in Staten Island at the bottom of this post.

Seattle city council president Tim Burgess has concocted the latest scheme to stem “gun violence”, and it has gun rights supporters upset.

More publicly funded welfare is headed to illegal aliens, this time by way of “free” college tuition, paid for by the working residents of Oregon.
Oregon Senator Michael Dembrow is the chief sponsor of SB 932, which would open up state funded scholarships to “undocumented students”. The program that disperses the state aid is the Oregon Opportunity Grant, and it currently provides $55 Million in funds for approximately 35,000 students. Gun-banning billionaire Michael Bloomberg has launched a “gun news” site called The Trace. By way of introduction, The Trace’s editors admitted, “We do bring a point of view to the issue of gun violence: We believe there is too much of it.”
As admissions go, this one doesn’t admit much guilt. But The Trace editors show their true colors before they can exit the paragraph, backhanding the ban on funding for CDC’s positioning of gun violence as a “public health issue”; complaining that anti-gun politicians and journalists (like those at The Trace) can’t get at gun trace data in order to manipulate it; misrepresenting the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act; and expressing apoplexy that doctors are prevented from prying into the lives of gun owners.
