Chick - Public DomainThe Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

Are you prepared to go without turkey this Thanksgiving?  Yes, it might actually get that bad.  So far, the worst outbreak of bird flu in U.S. history has claimed the lives of more than 20 million turkeys and chickens, and the pandemic continues to rage wildly out of control.  Once one bird becomes infected, this particular strain of the virus is so virulent that it can virtually wipe out an entire flock in just a matter of days.  At this point, scientists think that this virus is being spread by wild birds, but they have no idea how it is getting inside barns and other enclosed facilities so easily.  Considering how important turkey, chicken and eggs are to our food supply, it is quite alarming that scientists don’t really understand what is going on.  If this bird flu outbreak is not brought under control, how many birds will eventually die?  Right now, it is already in the tens of millions.  Could the total eventually reach into the hundreds of millions?   Continue reading “Bird Flu Has Already Killed More Than 20 MILLION Turkeys And Chickens In The United States”

The Baltimore police lieutenant charged with the manslaughter of Freddie Gray allegedly threatened to kill himself and the husband of his ex-girlfriend, during incidents that led to him being disciplined and twice having his guns confiscated.

Brian Rice, who pursued and arrested Gray after the 25-year-old “caught his eye” on 12 April, was reportedly given an administrative suspension after being hospitalized for a mental health evaluation when he warned he was preparing to shoot himself in April 2012.   Continue reading “Freddie Gray officer threatened to kill himself and ex-partner’s husband, court document alleges”

The blog post by Steven Goddard featured below was posted last summer, but we thought it really illustrates the important point of how our political leaders are able jump from one bandwagon to the next in order to suit their own favored popular ideological construction and collectivist movements.

Recently, California’s Governor Jerry Brown has said that the state’s chronic drought proves that “climate change is not a hoax.”    Continue reading “Stuck on Stupid: California Governor Thinks Drought Caused By ‘Global Warming’”

Who Attempted the Covert Sterilization of Mexican School Children with Vaccines in 1974?Truthstream Media – by Melissa Dykes

You could say the idea of the so-called “Population Bomb” may have actually exploded in 1974.

That was the year of the first World Population Conference in Bucharest. Effects of the 1973 oil crisis were being felt hard, with the price of oil quadrupled from $3 to nearly $12 a barrel. Oh, and speaking of war criminal Henry Kissinger, ’74 was also the year of his infamous National Security Study Memorandum 200, which listed the “population problem” of unchecked growth in “LDCs” (less developed countries) as a potential risk to U.S. national security.   Continue reading “Who Attempted the Covert Sterilization of Mexican School Children with Vaccines in 1974?”

Red State – by Ben Howe

Remember awhile back when it was “revealed” that Obamacare had been deliberately designed by its architect to screw over states that would not want to set up their own insurance exchanges and go along with the top-down, big-government deform that Dear Leader was pushing? Well… as Dear Leader’s EPA moves forward with its carbon plan (call it “cap,” with no “trade”), it’s beginning to look like this thing was — just like Obamacare– designed to hammer states that declined to go along with Dear Leader’s wishes>From Inside Climate (yes, yes):   Continue reading “Obama is making good on his promise to raise your utility bill”

The same president who refuses to beef up our southern border to keep criminals out of the country is now announcing that he is adding more spikes to the fence around the White House to make it harder for people to get over it. So… fences are good to keep Americans from the White House, but not good to keep lawbreaking foreigners out of our country?   Continue reading “Obama Adding More Spikes to White House Fence–Same Guy Who Won’t Put Fence at the Border”

One of the top stories on the Voice of America, our government’s admitted propaganda outlet, is about how the Pentagon has officially begun training the so-called moderate Syrian rebels on the ground in Syria to fight the Islamic State.

You know… Whoever the rebels are.

The Pentagon says it has started training moderate Syrian rebels to fight against Islamic State militants on the ground in Syria. Continue reading “The Pentagon Is Officially Training the ‘Moderate Syrian Rebels’ — Whoever They Are — to Fight ISIS”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

Following a report on Sunday, where Human Rights Watch said video and photographic evidence showed that Saudi Arabia used cluster bombs near villages in Yemen’s Saada Province at least two separate times, the US State Department said it is “looking into” the allegations but, as Foreign Policy reports, said the notoriously imprecise weapon — banned by much of the world — could still have an appropriate role to play in Riyadh’s U.S.-backed offensive (as long as it was used carefully).   Continue reading “US Approves Saudi Use Of Banned Cluster Bombs (But Only If They’re Extra Careful)”

The New American – by Alex Newman

Jihadists beware: You are being used as pawns and useful idiots for a much deeper agenda. The evidence is clear, and the goals are relatively transparent.

The Obama administration plans to begin more military training and arming of “moderate” jihadists in Syria as soon as this week, according to U.S. defense officials cited in media reports. The U.S. government’s stepped-up military support for “vetted” Syrian jihadists is ostensibly aimed at helping them battle less moderate Islamists in ISIS — a terrorist group that both Vice President Joe Biden and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Martin Dempsey have admitted was armed and funded by Obama’s “anti-ISIS” coalition in the war on Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.   Continue reading “Globalists Using Muslim Terrorists as Pawns”

Each Friday night after work, Bubba would fire up his outdoor grill and cook a venison steak. But, all of Bubba’s neighbors were Catholic. Since it was Lent, they were forbidden from eating meat on Friday.

The delicious aroma from the grilled venison steaks was causing such a problem for the Catholic faithful that they finally talked to their priest.

Gun Watch – by Dean Weingarten

Robert A. Heinlein wrote that an armed society is a polite society.    Many in the gun culture echo this sentiment.   Every firearms trainer that I have met paraphrases it in some way.  Here is an example:

Carrying a firearm is a tremendous responsibility.   The results of having to use the firearm will follow you the rest of your life.   The best way to avoid using it is to avoid confrontations.   Be quick to apologize, and ready to walk away from conflict.
