Stacie StarrWND

Honored as the “Top Teacher” by ABC’s “Live with Kelly and Michael” show, Stacie Starr was speaking at an education forum earlier this week when she dropped a bombshell.

The veteran teacher at Elyria High School in Elyria, Ohio, told a stunned audience Monday she will resign at the end of the school year because of the new federal Common Core system of standards and assessments adopted by her state, reported the local Chronicle-Telegram newspaper.

As she fought back tears, she disclosed she is leaving traditional education and plans ‘to teach in a different way.”At the forum, which sought to help parents navigate the complex standardized testing system, Starr was talking about how special education has suffered under Common Core.   Continue reading “‘Top teacher’ winner quits due to Common Core”

In her best George III imitation, Representative Elizabeth Esty (D-Conn.) is coming for your ammunition.

Esty’s proposed legislation caps magazine capacity at 10 rounds.

“Think of the damage that someone could do in the U.S. Capitol with 30 rounds,” insisted Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a vocal proponent of the bill.   Continue reading “Over 100 Congressmen Want 10-Round Cap on Ammo Magazine Capacity”

When I was outlining the main points of this article, at times I felt like I was reading a fictional novel — so EVIL, that it nearly took my breath away that people could do such horrific things to their fellow human beings.

When we hear the name of Bill Gates, we think of a man who became ridiculously rich from his empire, Microsoft. I will tell you this. You will never think of Bill Gates the same after reading this article.   Continue reading “Bill Gates Insane Quest To Sterilize And Depopulate The World”

Someone doesn’t like places that aren’t gun free zones, and they had something to say about it by turning into 14-year-old kids with spray paint.

Last week, we brought you the feel-good story about a township in Pennsylvania that erected over a dozen “This Is Not A Gun Free Zone” signs all over town. They made headlines for their awesome approach at letting bad guys know they aren’t messing around anymore.   Continue reading ““Not A Gun Free Zone” Signs Vandalized Just A Few Days After They Went Up”

Survival is our greatest instinct. Men might conform their opinions to those of their associates and their superiors but they will not knowingly die to protect those who robbed them blind, killed their leaders and sent them to die in idiotic wars.

And that is the problem the leaders of the Pricks nations – otherwise known as NATO- face as they approach the Endgame of their war against the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.) Clarification: NATO actually stands for Not Altogether Thought Out. Its membership includes nations already looking for the exits. Greece is talking to Russia. Turkey has agreed to build a Russian natural gas pipeline across their country to a terminal in Greece. Germany and France held talks directly with the Russians to solve the Ukraine crisis in defiance of the American Teleprompter Reader Barack Obama. When Tony Blair was Prime Minister, he discussed George W Bush with his Foreign Secretary Robin Cook. They concluded that Bush was not the real President of the United States. The same can be said of Barack Obama.   Continue reading “Surviving The Pricks Vs BRICS Wars.”

Photos provided to Breitbart News show the entrance from the road barred and police tape around the perimeter. Patrol cars were reportedly on hand as well. The local resident also stated that the rear entrance to the facility was also blocked.   Continue reading “CIA Headquarters in Langley Reportedly on Lockdown”

REDMOND, Wash., Feb. 14 (UPI) — A new computer vision system from Microsoft can identify objects better than the average human, according to a new research paper.

Humans can identify objects with an error rate of 5.1 percent, but Microsoft’s new system only has an error rate of 4.94 percent. It’s a small difference, but it’s never been done before.

To get these results, the research team out of Beijing had the system analyze ImageNet’s 2012 classification dataset, which contains over 1.2 million training images, 50,000 validation images and 100,000 test images.   Continue reading “Microsoft has developed a computer system that can identify objects better than humans”

acupressure pointsUnderground Health

Acupressure therapy, sometimes called pressure acupuncture, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. It involves applying pressure to acupressure points that lie along meridians in your body to promote relaxation and treat illnesses. There are more than 400 acupressure points on the body.

It is believed that vital energy called qi (chi) flows through these meridians or energy pathways. There are 12 major meridians that connect specific organs, thus organizing a system of communication throughout the body. Illness occurs when one or more of these meridians are blocked or out of balance.   Continue reading “Top 10 Acupressure Points for Pain Relief & Other Problems”

Supporters of tighter gun controls are testing a new approach in their battle to cut firearm deaths: adding gun curbs for people linked to domestic violence.

A pending bill in South Carolina would require someone convicted of a domestic-violence charge to turn in his or her firearms to the county sheriff. Legislation proposed in Arizona would prohibit someone charged with domestic violence from possessing a gun while out on bail. A measure in Missouri would add “dating partners” to those covered by domestic-violence laws and the gun bans that attach to them.   Continue reading “Gun-Control Backers Turn Their Focus to Domestic Violence”

Pharmaceutical giant Merck is being accused falsifying data so it could sell a vaccine that wasn’t as effective as advertised and didn’t work for thousands of individuals.

Merck has a monopoly on vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella, or MMR and MMR II vaccines. These vaccines have been given to millions of Americans. Thousands of those inoculated still contracted the mumps during outbreaks in 2006, 2010 and 2014.   Continue reading “Merck MMR Vaccine Failed to Protect Thousands from Mumps”

Genetically modified apples have been approved by the industry-corrupted USDA, a federal regulator that accomplishes for the biotech industry the same thing the FDA achieves for Big Pharma: unlimited profits, lax regulation and a ready willingness to accept fabricated “science” as fact.

“The USDA’s environmental review received 73,000 comments that overwhelmingly opposed the commercialization of Arctic Apples,” explains a press release from Food & Water Watch. [1]   Continue reading “GMOs invade fruit industry: Apples, pears, cherries and peaches to all become unlabeled GMO”

In a move clearly intended by the Obama Administration to suppress the acquisition, ownership and use of AR-15s and other .223 caliber general purpose rifles, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives unexpectedly announced today that it intends to ban commonplace M855 ball ammunition as “armor piercing ammunition.” The decision continues Obama’s use of his executive authority to impose gun control restrictions and bypass Congress.   Continue reading “BATFE To Ban Common AR-15 Ammo”

This week, lawmakers in New Hampshire, Kansas, Mississippi, and Montana advanced bills that, if made into law, would no longer require special permits to carry concealed weapons in public. Five states already have no concealed permit requirement – part of a broader trend toward so-called constitutional carry.

Also this week, Sen. John Cornyn (R) of Texas introduced federal legislation that would turn concealed weapons permits into something like state driver’s licenses, which are legal anywhere in the United States. The measure nearly passed a Democrat-controlled Senate last year, meaning it could well end up on President Obama’s desk in 2015.   Continue reading “Concealed carry without a permit: Will crime go up or down?”

I can’t help but wonder if the theme song for the soon-to-be released “Fifty Shades of Grey” film will be “have you ever really degraded a woman?”

As a mother to three young men, I am deeply troubled by the upcoming release of “Fifty Shades.” Let me start by saying I have not read the book but I have read enough commentary to know what the book is ultimately about — and the bottom line for me is — the message this movie sends to young men is frightening at best.   Continue reading “‘Fifty Shades of Grey’: Five things a real man knows”

I’ve sometimes wondered how I would best go about explaining the realities of our world to someone who has recently discovered that most of what he knows about history and current events are lies.

The disturbing epiphany leaves people confused, and in some degree of shock, because it forces them to question everything they think they know; so what would be the best direction in which to steer someone that would bring them toward a total understanding of how our world really operates?   Continue reading “The Big Picture”
