Vac Truth – by Michelle Goldstein

Recently Dr. Andrew Wakefield directed the documentary Vaxxed to educate the public about autism in general, and more specifically to address the coverup of the 2004 research connecting the MMR vaccine to autism. Gastroenterologist Wakefield has become a champion for the autism community, which stands behind Wakefield’s dedication and work to help the growing numbers of children suffering from autism. Dr. Wakefield’s work has focused on alleviating the gastrointestinal distress often accompanying patients of autism. MILTON — A Milton woman was arrested after she ignored a deputy’s order for her to stop, crawled under a semi to escape, and shook off a jolt from a Taser, lawmen say.

The woman, 23-year-old Anna Marie Nowlin, was walking with traffic along U.S. Highway 90 when a deputy spotted her and tried to talk to her. She refused to talk and continued walking, eventually crossing the road. The deputy went ahead of her and waited for her to come by, and again she refused to talk to him.   Continue reading “POLICE BLOTTER: Walking woman Tased multiple times”

The allegations against the man were serious indeed.

  • Donald Rumsfeld said he was “if not the number two, very close to the number two person” in Al Qaeda.
  • The Central Intelligence Agency informed Assistant Attorney General Jay Bybee that he “served as Usama Bin Laden’s senior lieutenant. In that capacity, he has managed a network of training camps…. He also acted as al-Qaeda’s coordinator of external contacts and foreign communications.”

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden’s revelations on government mass surveillance have apparently scared a significant number of people away from searching for terrorism-related information on Wikipedia, as a new study shows readers are afraid of being investigated.

The conclusions come as the online encyclopedia giant showed a 30-percent drop in searches on terrorism-related topics – the most direct evidence yet of something called the “chilling effect,” described by University of Oxford and Toronto’s Jonathon Penney as the measure of the negative impact on legal conduct that arises out of the leaks by the former NSA contractor who exposed the PRISM program.   Continue reading “People too afraid to search privacy-sensitive topics after Snowden revelations – Oxford study”

Several computer viruses have been detected in a German nuclear power plant in Bavaria, the station operator said. The malware can steal login credentials and allow a remote attacker to access the cracked computer.

The incident took place at Gundremmingen plant about 100km from Munich.

“In Gundremmingen nuclear power plant so-called office-malware has been found during … testing work in Unit B,” a statement released by the power plant said.   Continue reading “German nuclear plant in Bavaria infected with malware, logins compromised”

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Hecklers who shout down speakers on North Carolina’s college campuses could be punished under a proposal being floated before lawmakers that would make this state the newest battleground over free speech at U.S. universities.

Lt. Gov. Dan Forest is proposing that the state’s 17-campus public university system create a policy that includes punishments for “those who interrupt the free expression of others.” With their annual legislative session opening this week, North Carolina lawmakers are expected to join a half-dozen states that have taken up free-speech legislation for public campuses.   Continue reading “College free speech: Hecklers on NC campuses under scrutiny”

ANTIOCH, Calif. (AP) — There was an emergency in Room 14. Three girls injured, one with a broken thighbone and maybe something more serious. Snapping on sterile gloves and kneeling before the worst-off patient, two 17-year-olds went to work.

The pair cut open the girl’s pant leg, pinched her toes to see if she had feeling and fit her with a neck brace. Sweat flecked their faces by the time they had the patient — a perfectly healthy classmate — strapped to a back board 12 minutes later.   Continue reading “Career education making a comeback in US high schools”

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Supporters and opponents of Donald Trump clashed Tuesday outside City Hall, and five people, including two little girls, were pepper-sprayed by a demonstrator during the heated confrontation, police said.

No serious injuries and no arrests were reported in the clash as about 50 people confronted each other in the Orange County community. Backers waving U.S. flags and pro-Trump signs were met by opponents and a shouting match began before a City Council meeting where an anti-Trump resolution had been proposed that the council eventually chose to take no action on.   Continue reading “Pepper spray flies during Trump protest clash in California”

The criminal depths to which police will sink to bolster their budgets, apparently have no limit, as a recent case of police theft in Oklahoma illustrates. To keep society safe, sheriff’s deputies in Muskogee County, Oklahoma robbed a church and an orphanage of $53,000. Real American heroes.

Eh Wah, 40, a refugee from Burma, who became a US citizen more than a decade ago, was traveling with the cash to deliver it to the intended recipients when he was targetted by modern day, state-sanctioned pirates — for a broken tail light.   Continue reading “Worse than Criminals — Cops Use Asset Forfeiture to Steal $53K from an Orphanage and a Church”

This is the epitome of modern Orwellian America.

A group of 51 middle schoolers from North Carolina traveled all the way to the 9/11 memorial and decided to sing the national anthem.

They were stopped — from singing the national anthem at the 9/11 memorial — halfway through by 9/11 memorial security because, well, it seems they didn’t have the proper permit.   Continue reading “Security Stops Middle Schoolers From Singing The National Anthem At 9/11 Memorial”

Phoenix, AZ — As the Free Thought Project reported, voter suppression in Maricopa County, and the rest of Arizona ran rampant last month during the primary. The number of polling locations was drastically reduced, leaving many voters with a wait time of 5 hours just to vote. Others were left with no voting locations at all.

The election rigging was so obvious that a hearing was held the following week in the House Gallery to discuss possible courses of action to correct it.   Continue reading “Arizona Poll Worker Confirms Rigged Primary — Testifies Her Machine Gave Out Wrong Ballots”

Two senior Obama administration officials wrote congressional leaders on Tuesday to urge legislation be passed to fund the fight against the Zika virus, as concerns mount the United States will soon face locally transmitted cases of the disease.

U.S. health officials concluded this month that the virus, spreading rapidly in the Americas, was a cause of microcephaly, a rare birth defect defined by unusually small head size that can hamper development. Zika is also linked to other health problems.   Continue reading “White House urges Congress to move on Zika funding”

The UN Security Council has rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that the annexed Golan Heights in Syria would “forever” remain under Israeli control.

The 15-member council agreed on Tuesday that the status of the Golan, which Israel seized from Syria in 1967, “remains unchanged,” Chinese Ambassador Liu Jieyi, who holds this month’s council presidency said.   Continue reading “UN rejects Israel’s claim over Syria’s Golan Heights”

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
