Earlier, when we reported that based on Hillary Clinton’s latest tax disclosure, she and her husband had made $139 million in gross income since 2007 most of its from private speaking fees, the one aspect that readers founds most fascinating was the breakdown of all the bribes better known as speeches given by the two Clintons (who in Hillary’s words came out of the White House “dead broke”) in 2013 as well as the going rate. Outdoor air pollution’s impact on public health is well-recorded while in the developed world, indoor air quality is often ignored. But the fact is, especially in the winter when we spend more time indoors, the health of the air inside our homes matters. (Winter is also when cases of carbon monoxide and radon poisoning inside homes spike.)
Indoor air quality is particularly important for people with indoor winter allergies, such as mold, dust and pet danger. HESSTON, Kan. (AP) — A gunman armed with an “assault-style” weapon drove through a south-central Kansas town Thursday, taking shots at people, before storming the factory where he worked. Authorities said he killed three people and wounded 14 before being shot dead by an officer.

Mature minors and mentally ill people should not be excluded from the right to doctor-assisted death, according to a special committee of MPs and senators.
A 70-page report tabled Thursday, called “Medical Assistance in Dying: A Patient-Centred Approach,” also says Canadians should have the right to make an “advance request” for medical aid in dying after being diagnosed with certain debilitating, but not necessarily terminal, conditions. In a mass mailing to employees, CEO Bob Iger asked Disney people to make a regular contribution to Disney PAC to help the company lobby for expanded copyright laws, and the Trans Pacific Partnership.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) — Not one but two Marines were brutally attacked on February 12 in two unrelated incidents.
One attack happened at a McDonald’s when two teenagers assaulted and robbed a veteran Marine.

Norwegian PM Erna Solberg doesn’t want to have to skirt her country’s responsibilities under the Geneva Convention and she doesn’t want to trample over human rights either, but she will if she has to.
“It is a force majeure proposals which we will have in the event that it all breaks down,” Solberg said, inan interview with Berlingske, describing new measures she believes Norway may have to take if Sweden buckles under the weight of the refugee influx which saw some 163,000 asylum seekers inundate the country last year.
