Instituted by President Bill Clinton in 1996, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Act is one of the largest federal assistance programs in the United States. A cash benefit usually referred to as “welfare,” it provides temporary financial assistance with the goal of getting people off of that assistance, mainly through employment.   Continue reading “Your Welfare Dollars Feed State Budgets, Not Needy Families”

Free Thought Project – by Matt Agorist

Roseville, NC — A Roseville police officer, who was being investigated after he was seen on video slamming a small teen girl to the ground, has quietly resigned amid the investigation. As the Free Thought Project has previously reported, officers are all too often allowed to resign during investigations as a means of avoiding any form of accountability. It appears that is what’s happening here.

In January, Officer Ruben De Los Santos was captured on a high school student’s cell phone video slamming down a small teen half his size, Jasmin Darwin. According to witnesses and Darwin, She was trying to break up a fight between her sister and another student when Santos came up from behind her and smashed her into the ground.   Continue reading “Cop Allowed to Quietly Resign After Video Shows Him Body Slam a Small Girl”

Once a shining beacon of American capitalism, malls around the U.S. are failing at an alarming rate due to a combination of shifting consumption patterns, years of underinvestment by mall owners and a spate of retailer bankruptcies over the past 12 months that have left large swaths of once prime real estate empty (see “Number Of Distressed US Retailers Highest Since The Great Recession“).

Now, as the vacant square footage grows larger, mall owners are being increasingly forced to turn to non-conventional tenants to fill empty space.  Per the Wall Street Journal, the latest target of mall owners is yet another struggling industry, grocers, with everyone from Whole Foods to Kroger looking to snap up square footage at discount prices.   Continue reading “America’s Desperate Mall Owners Turn To Grocers, Doctors & High Schools To Fill Empty Space”

WEB Notes: The fascist governments of the past would have died for this technology and even more so, they would have been extremely appreciative to the people, for the people allowing this to happen in their cities. This is not freedom and this is not about stopping crime. Enforce the laws on the books and watch the crime fall. Stop removing our 2nd Amendment rights and watch crime fall. When government has an idea it usually involves the loss of your money and freedom. This is not anti-government speak, it is the truth. There is nothing wrong with a government that is truly, “of the people, by the people and for the people”. Unfortunately, those days are long gone.

WEB Notes: Syria is not being invaded because of ISIS. ISIS is a proxy army of Global Powers. The ISIS narrative is being used to provide the reason to invade and take over Syria in order to institute a government that will go along with the current global structure. This is all about global government and world leaders have said many times that terrorism is the common enemy of mankind so they must work together to fight it.

House Republicans on Monday announced their long-awaited legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, but they can’t say how many people would get or lose coverage compared to the Affordable Care Act.

The bill puts income restrictions on insurance tax credits and drops a proposed cap on the tax break for employer-sponsored health coverage. The Congressional Budget Office has not released its estimate on how much the bill would cost, and Republicans hope to use savings from repealing Obamacare to pay for the new provisions.   Continue reading “House unveils Obamacare replacement”

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Two of the world’s most intriguing mysteries are in the hands of Malaysian investigators. Will they ever find all the answers to either? One of them — the fatal poisoning of the half brother of North Korea’s ruler with a banned nerve agent — happened long after the other — Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which vanished three years ago Wednesday. Investigators have far more evidence in the death of Kim Jong Nam, including his body and two suspects in custody, than they do in the disappearance of the plane, whose 239 passengers and crew could be forever lost in the Indian Ocean.   Continue reading “2 challenging mysteries have one thing in common: Malaysia”

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — North Korea closed its borders Tuesday to Malaysians who want to leave the country, spurring Malaysia to issue a retaliatory order and drawing hundreds of ordinary people into an increasingly bitter diplomatic battle over the killing of an exiled member of North Korea’s ruling family.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak denounced North Korea’s order as a violation of international law, calling it “an abhorrent act, effectively holding our citizens hostage.” Police have been ordered to stop North Koreans from leaving Malaysia “until we are assured of the safety and security of all Malaysians in North Korea,” Najib said in a statement.   Continue reading “North Korea, Malaysia ban each other’s citizens from leaving”

Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown

Either this is an incredible coincidence or, more likely, Bill and Hillary Clinton were in on monitoring President Donald Trump and some of his advisers.

Bill Clinton met secretly with then Attorney General Loretta Lynch at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on June 27, 2016.  This occurred around the same time the Obama administration filed a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers.  Continue reading “Coincidence or were the Clintons in on Communications Monitoring of Trump & His Advisers”

Basurto issued a letter in Spanish to illegal aliens in his town, assuring them that they are safe from deportation because his department “will not engage in federal immigration enforcement activities,” and that their immigration status is “completely irrelevant,” Judicial Watch reported on Thursday, March 2.

“If you are an undocumented immigrant in the Town of Windsor, you do not need to fear the officers of the Windsor Police Department,” Chief Basurto wrote, “nor assume that they have any reason to bother you, detain you or arrest you for simply being undocumented.
